Celine Dion's version of "My Heart Will Go On" may have been chosen as the theme song for the Titanic movie, but it was composed by James Horner, with lyrics by Will Jennings, and produced by Horner, Walter Afanasieff and Simon Franglen. Horner didn't even like her version (but the others did).
So this song isn't Celine's at all, she just recorded an audition tape just like several others and they just happened to pick hers. This is Dan's and Garrett's metal version of the song, you could say it's their "audition tape".
I'm glad Dan didn't do a cover of Celine's version. It's so slow and sad. I like this one much better! 💖👍🏼

Garrett is nothing short of a brilliant guitar player. I know him from renditions with Dan Vasc and Minniva. Garrett and Dan fit perfectly together here, not only as top-notch musicians but also in their overall metal musicians' outfit and behavior.
