  • The BGM-71 TOW is an anti-tank guided missile. "TOW" stands for "Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wire-to-command-Link" guided Missile Set. The TOW was first produced in 1970 and is the most widely used anti-tank guided missile in the world.

    The iconic TOW missile which is seen even in many PC games including “Mobius Front 83”.

    I was regular army infantry, 11-H, 1981-1984. We did not have Kevlar helmets Ruben.

      t-90*, but yes, this old great piece of engineering can destroy any armoured vehicle (pretty much) up too 3.5km.

    Those helmets are really old though. Army was using the kevlar "fritz" by 1983.

      What are these troops wearing?

    First HMMWVs were delivered in 1984-85. with everything else it is probably 1985 or 86
