You can watch in 1080p 🥰 Hook: H8 (5mm), Yarn: Acrylic, medium weight, 3ply Blue yarn: ~1235yd (1130m), ~25oz (700g) White yarn ~71yd (65m), ~1oz (30g)
This jacket is really lovely, thank you so much for making the video so well described. I am really enjoying this video and am looking forward to part two. Thank you so much sharing your beautiful work xx
This jacket is stunning and I cannot wait to start working on it. You mentioned that you used 25 oz. of the main color. What size does the 25 oz. make in the tutorial? I just want to make sure I order enough yarn for the project. I need to make a size Large for the person I'd like to gift it to. Thanks for sharing your lovely work!
I’m a beginner and unfortunately I feel like you are faster (more advanced) then my brain can comprehend at this time. Do you provide any patterns that might help me follow along? I absolutely love your work, it’s all gorgeous! Maybe I’m being too industrious lol thx you!
Hi Silvia. Love your name ❤️. Try the origami granny cardigan with the four colors. You can make it with one color. You could try leaving the triangle out….also I have a very easy very beautiful cardigan coming out at end of March that might be just for you🥰
@@SYLVIAHappyhobbyCROCHETING123 thank you!! I will be watching for your new tutorial and I will check out the other one you mentioned. I really love your work it is absolutely gorgeous and I am striving to be able to follow ALL your tutorials at some point. See I have goals lol. Btw, ditto on the name 💕
Because I crochet about as weirdly as anything you've ever seen - holding the yarn in my RIGHT hand and doing a kind of single needle knitting (but with a crochet hook !) - I can't do that chainless starting dc. My question therefore is: if at the beginning of a row I chain one and then do a dc into the first stitch, would that .. well, be OK is probably the question .. :\
Hi M-R. Absolutely. there are so many ways to start a dc round. Chain 3, or sc and chain 2, or your version: ch,dc. On the chainless double all you have to do is a twist to get the yarn over, pull up a loop, pull through the loop and behind the twist on your hook and then pull through two loops. treat it like a regular dc. Bless your talent and happy crocheting🥰
@@SYLVIAHappyhobbyCROCHETING123 Grateful for your imprimatur ! :D It's having the yarn coming from the right that prevents me from making the chainless starting dc: I'd give a great deal to be able to do that ..
Me again, clever Sylvia. I've finished the two hexagons cardi in dc now, and am ready to move on to this one. What about sizing ?: what are your priorities for it ? I mean, do I make the hexagons as wide as half my (_|_) ?
hi M-R. Thanks for all your feedback. on this cardigan we are adding 3 rows on 3 sides to make Cardigan wider in the front & back (and bottom) and leave the sleeves more narrow, so you don’t have to add quite as many rounds to the hexagon as you normally would to get your desired width. 🥰🥰🥰
Hi Carmel. You can make the hexagons any size. If you have a jacket you like wearing you can use it for a template. lay the hexagons on top of it to match the size. Then you can easily see if you have to make more rounds. Happy crocheting 🥰

I really like your “chainless double” to start each round!
I hadn’t seen that technique before, and I’ll be using it with other patterns.
I think your jacket fits really well. It doesn't have the bat wing arms the other hexagon jackets have. Thanks for making "wearable garment s" 👍🏽
Awesome. So much nicer pattern than regular granny stitches
Thank you @Maybe Buffalo . 🥰
I love this filet pattern and made many baby blankets with it, definitely going to make this jacket😍
