Not with Jodie though... I’m waiting for the 14th Doctor. Hopefully the show won’t die before that happens.
Nah I’m not attached to 13 like I was to previous Doctors.
I mean Jodie wont be as hard to let go as Matt Smith, he will always be *my* doctor
At least the 13 doctor won’t be hard to let go of and it will be easier for people and will bring joy instead of sadness
@@be6386 you know, when Jodie was announced I was hoping beyond everything that she'll prove her haters wrong and that she'll bring a new perspective to the doctor... But I really can't justify anyone liking her doctor now. It's not that she's female, the writing sucks, the characters suck, the new music sucks (not the composer's fault, I heard his full rendition of the new doctors theme and I was like "that's really good, if only he had a reason to use it in the show" and there are some standouts in music when he gets a chance to shine like the new cybermam theme or some very specific episodes so I'm ENTIRELY blaming the bad music on the writing, the acting sucks and everyone is talking about how it "looks better" but the directing is static and sucks so it somehow looks worse to me. And you can't even blame Chib's writing as to why she doesn't feel like the doctor cause Capaldi has had worse written episodes but still ended up being the greatest iteration of the doctor ever, he might not be your favourite but there's no denying that he was the best. Honestly we just need a new showrunner, new directors, a new writer's room and a new doctor.
Letting the 11th doctor go was hard for me.I still cry everytime I watch Matt Smith's doctor regenerate and it made me cry more when Amy pond walked down the stairs.❤😭

I hated the 12 and I began watching him over and over I got so incredibly attached it hurts to see him go.
12 had some issues but where still a really good doctor imo. I feel like he got more flack than deserved

As we welcome and celebrate the arrival of Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor, this video is a reminder that while the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Hours since passed, they REALLY are the Stuff of Legends. For me, it's Tennant and Capaldi, and yes, letting 10 and 12 go is so hard ( especially 12, I ❤️ 12.... and 10 too ) I will never forget both of them. In fact, in a way, the universe is a big place where you can appreciate one....well TWO Doctors ( in my case ) and have room for another... that would be Whittaker. You out did yourself with this video, I'm not crying, I'm.... applauding, for you, for this amazing, moving, heart stirring tribute to the Five New Who Doctors.

I would add one thing. Show a continuous montage of the 9th thru to the 12th regeneration until you get to Jodi Whitaker saying "Brilliant " it would be a cool ending. Having said that, this video is awesome!

I grew up with the first doctor in novelizations, and the seventh on tv. McCoys enigmatic "chess master" and his very cool companion Ace would draw me to the screen every time. I loved 12 very much, for being to the point, alien and stern. My favorite in NuWho so far, very reminiscent of the first Doctor. I loved 11 for being childlike, but clearly oh so very old, I really liked 10 for being darker than it seemed on the surface. And 9 for his energy and friendly charm.
It is sad that so far, 13 is just...very undefined. There was no "doctor moment" for me. No defining characteristic. I can only hope that they will work on this, because i'm quickly losing interest in the direction the show is currently going - and I certainly do not want to see it go. Let's hope for a better 2020.

This was great! Perfect clips, perfect arrangement.
If there is just one criticism I have, it's that the added music could be overpowering at times, being louder than the dialogue. In the future, mixing the music just a bit lower than it was here would make it flawless!

The video is great. Unfortunately this last change was not a good one. I saw Jodie Whittaker in Broadchurch, and she delivered a solid performance in that. But I didn't get the sense that she would be good in a role that requires some comedic experience (or at least a talent for comedy) & she certainly didn't seem to have any real presence (which to be fair wasn't something required in Broadchurch as she was playing a regular person). The fact that the writers for the latest season had little to no experience writing science fiction, & a couple of them had little to no writing experience period, didn't seem very promising. And unfortunately that lack of experience showed. Episodes that were not bad became a source for celebration. Well times do change, and Doctor Who has survived bad decisions on the part the shows makers before, so I'm not giving up on a show that I have watched ever since the Tom Baker episodes started to be shown in America on PBS. Anyway I should say again this was an excellent video.
