Am I the only one that likes Octavia better as the innocent sky person and not Skairipa or whatever? Everyone likes her because she’s a “badass” but I liked her the most when she first started talking to Lincoln and she was half and half, half grounder, half sky person. After that everything went downhill and she was a full on grounder and it bothered me.

They were all so young and innocent when the show started. Remember how Octavia run after butterflies? I love this show. I love how the world evolved and the characters developed. Season 5 felt like a reboot. And season 6 is doing the same thing to keep it fresh and new. This truly is one of the best shows on tv.

Octavia was always the Queen of the Underworld! She came from under the floor... she was the leader under Polis... Its amazing how they foreshadowed this stuff.
A lot of times when I watch shows it just get’s worse every season. But I didn’t have the same experience with the 100. Every season brought something new and they managed to keep it interesting and fresh. The character development is amazing and the storylines are well thought out, and amazingly written. Super talented cast, writers and directors.Terribly underrated show

Exactly. I mean, it's pretty specific as to the location, given that Mount Weather is a very real place still actively in use by the US Gov't. And the topographic map Clark is holding is a legitimate map of that part of Virginia, accurate enough that if you pay close attention to that conversation & the distance & directions she references, you can even pinpoint the actual landing site of the drop ship to somewhere in Front Royal, VA.

But I have to say in the end where she burns the farm idk what that was.. and I also kinda agree Octavia was the best when she was with Lincoln.

What if all On the new planet are nightbleeders?
This show is so good they r also honestly so good at planning like Things mentioned in season 1 but play parts in season 3 and at the end of season 3 they said something about how most of the world would be in unsurvivable but that leaves a small part that is which comes back to eden in season 5

Emerald correct. Notice also that grounder language is severely broken slang English. You can actually pick out the words and they have roughly the same meaning as the translations. I believe in season 6 belong says ‘make-em-go-on’ or ‘get-rid-dem-now’ (something like that) and it translates as ‘get rid of her.’ And Josephine figures it out because she was a linguistics enthusiast or whatever. Super interesting. And super disappointing we don’t have grounder interactions. I want to see them go back to Earth and find new grounders or something.
@@brandonkelbe That seems unlikely given that Earth was completely destroyed. First, Praimfaya destroyed almost everything and then the remnants were wiped out by war. It seems unlikely that Monty and Harper wouldn't have noticed another enclave of life on a burnt out Earth before launching Eligius on an interstellar journey given that they were specifically looking for just that. On the other hand, there is that weird anomaly thing so anything seems possible.
William Astle what is unlikely? That Josephine was able to understand one sentence? She’s fluent in like 14 languages or something and has hundreds of years to study them in her spare time. Plenty of people can understand a sentence of a language their not familiar with by figuring it out through context. Even if a foreigner asked you something you might be able to understand it if it was a broken dialect of your primary language and you study languages. As for them not knowing if there was life, Monty scanned the planet when they were still on their way there. They weren’t in orbit when they were alive. I doubt Harper did or knew anything about any of that either. He did say it was possibly occupied because someone sent a craft to colonize it, it was a secret mission that he hacked the data for.
PhoenixTDM it especially made me mad that there were no other commanders in the flame which kind of was it’s point. The whole thing with shade was lame and seemed like a way to write the flame out of the show so they wouldn’t have to use it anymore. I also highly doubt Lexi would not protect Clarke in her mind as Clarke was a huge part of her life and I’m sure would have had a strong presence in her subconscious. Personally I doubt think Josephine would have been able to touch her in her mind space. Not a single finger. Poor writing. The shows already gone downhill. I’m willing to see where it goes, but I think it’s lame now.
okay but number 4 just further proves Clarke’s amazing leadership. i mean she had to make incredibly hard choices for her people to survive and then ultimately her daughter and was also constantly willing to sacrifice herself for everyone else i mean she INJECTED NIGHTBLOOD IN HERSELF AND WAS WILLING TO EXPOSE HERSELF TO RADIATION WITHOUT ACTUALLY KNOWING IF ITD WORK. and i know she quotes President Wallace when she says this; “I bear it so they dont have to” but number 4 shows that she isnt just bearing the burden of physical pain, but also the emotional pain that comes with all of her decisions as a leader and she doesnt even hesitate to do any of it which is why i get so frustrated at everyone when they suddenly want to blame the girl they always turn to when they’re scared or in trouble
Seriously not happy that we never see Madi interacting with commanders. The flame was a very cool idea and they did not utilize it at all. The other commanders should be standing around her and part of the show, but only heard and seen by madi. That way we could still have Lexa. Was so bummed to not see any commanders except shade heda who we had never even heard about before? And all this business of him taking over madi? I was super bummed, the flame doesn’t work like that. It was more of a library. That’s the thing I disliked the most about season 6.
The 100 IS by far the best sci-fi drama ever so far! It'll be very very hard to beat this show. Excellent actors, always moving forward and overcoming so many obstacles and it's more like real life in the future than any other I've seen. Can't wait for season 7!!!
What I didn’t understand about The 100 is that how in just 97 years humanity devolved into non tech using hunter gatherers and formed an all new language. Seems like that would have taken longer
The language called "trigedasleng" actually came from a strong dialict of American English. And I think that they developed it to be able to speak freely with each other without their enemies understanding them.
The non tech makes sense. Almost everything was destroyed,plus they had no power ,so no tech. They also survived only because of Beca ,she did the transition to their blood so they could handle the radiation. The problem is not that much the language , a language can change

Honestly usually shows only have a few seasons that are good and then every other season sucks but every season of the 100 is soooo great and it never gets boring, you just want more and more of the show, and a lot of shows are really predictable but this show got me guessing so muchhhh. So underrated
one of my favorite little details is how the symbols in the bunker are reminiscent of lincoln's tattoos! i also love the drawings of clarke's that we only see for a second, especially her rendering of murphy and emori when they were preparing to test nightblood on the latter. it's a great little moment that emphasizes how much clarke remembers her past and lets it inform her.
This is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. I hope it doesn’t go south the next season. I found season 6 acceptable. But I hope it doesn’t get too weird. I preferred the grounder politics and post apocalyptic setting..
Becca also incorporates her companies logo on to the second AI. The infinity symbol is seen in various shoots on the episode called Thirteen in season 3.
One thing I always noticed in this show was the appearance of many car parts in the background. Saw many old 80's Chevy and Ford truck parts as well as many doors and hubcaps. Being a car guy, that was cool to see.
Jasper was my favorite character of the entire show right under Clarke (obviously) I really wish he would’ve lived longer 😕 maybe gotten through his depression and made it to space with Monty

The thing is every death means something. They dont die for nothing, when someone die, the others evolve into new characters, and that’s the beauty of it. I thought I could not continue after Lexa’s death. I was wrong, and also that Jaha’s son. Lol he died so fast but his character really has potential lol
Id like to think the reason the war started and why jasper got speared to begin with is because he was holding up a sign of mount weather to begin with. So the grounders made a judgement mistake and assumed they are part of mount weather. If jasper would not have held up a mount weather sign victoriously thins could have gone way different.
Am i the only one who didn’t like season 5? Like the shows been getting better no doubt. I loved season 3 even though they killed off there two most loved characters within a few episodes of each other. But season 5 tried to add dimension to there characters but just made them more one sided and black and white with Octavia basically going insane. Makes you wonder how Lexa handled it all after having to kill her only family at the conclave?
2:58 of course it was mentioned in the first episode. That where the drop ship was supposed to land originally. How is this a detail we missed. The whole point in season 1 was to get to mount weather where the supplies for the teenagers was.
In the season 7 episode "Anaconda", the pre-war flashback shows Calliope's friend wearing a t-shirt with a bio-hazard symbol and the words "Tree Crew". A beautiful payoff, which started six season earlier.

This show is so good they r also honestly so good at planning like Things mentioned in season 1 but play parts in season 3 and at the end of season 3 they said something about how most of the world would be in unsurvivable but that leaves a small part that is which comes back to eden in season 5

Jason Mistretta No they didn’t. They had the first season planned out but didn’t even expect to get renewed for a second. It wasn’t until either S3 or S4 that they started to have a long term plan for 7 seasons planned out.
Meanwhile Kathleen Kennedy can barely make 3 Star Wars films. And hollywood can’t make a big budget movie without ripping off some other movie..

Emerald correct. Notice also that grounder language is severely broken slang English. You can actually pick out the words and they have roughly the same meaning as the translations. I believe in season 6 belong says ‘make-em-go-on’ or ‘get-rid-dem-now’ (something like that) and it translates as ‘get rid of her.’ And Josephine figures it out because she was a linguistics enthusiast or whatever. Super interesting. And super disappointing we don’t have grounder interactions. I want to see them go back to Earth and find new grounders or something.
@@brandonkelbe That seems unlikely given that Earth was completely destroyed. First, Praimfaya destroyed almost everything and then the remnants were wiped out by war. It seems unlikely that Monty and Harper wouldn't have noticed another enclave of life on a burnt out Earth before launching Eligius on an interstellar journey given that they were specifically looking for just that. On the other hand, there is that weird anomaly thing so anything seems possible.

William Astle what is unlikely? That Josephine was able to understand one sentence? She’s fluent in like 14 languages or something and has hundreds of years to study them in her spare time. Plenty of people can understand a sentence of a language their not familiar with by figuring it out through context. Even if a foreigner asked you something you might be able to understand it if it was a broken dialect of your primary language and you study languages. As for them not knowing if there was life, Monty scanned the planet when they were still on their way there. They weren’t in orbit when they were alive. I doubt Harper did or knew anything about any of that either. He did say it was possibly occupied because someone sent a craft to colonize it, it was a secret mission that he hacked the data for.
PhoenixTDM it especially made me mad that there were no other commanders in the flame which kind of was it’s point. The whole thing with shade was lame and seemed like a way to write the flame out of the show so they wouldn’t have to use it anymore. I also highly doubt Lexi would not protect Clarke in her mind as Clarke was a huge part of her life and I’m sure would have had a strong presence in her subconscious. Personally I doubt think Josephine would have been able to touch her in her mind space. Not a single finger. Poor writing. The shows already gone downhill. I’m willing to see where it goes, but I think it’s lame now.
okay but number 4 just further proves Clarke’s amazing leadership. i mean she had to make incredibly hard choices for her people to survive and then ultimately her daughter and was also constantly willing to sacrifice herself for everyone else i mean she INJECTED NIGHTBLOOD IN HERSELF AND WAS WILLING TO EXPOSE HERSELF TO RADIATION WITHOUT ACTUALLY KNOWING IF ITD WORK. and i know she quotes President Wallace when she says this; “I bear it so they dont have to” but number 4 shows that she isnt just bearing the burden of physical pain, but also the emotional pain that comes with all of her decisions as a leader and she doesnt even hesitate to do any of it which is why i get so frustrated at everyone when they suddenly want to blame the girl they always turn to when they’re scared or in trouble

Seriously not happy that we never see Madi interacting with commanders. The flame was a very cool idea and they did not utilize it at all. The other commanders should be standing around her and part of the show, but only heard and seen by madi. That way we could still have Lexa. Was so bummed to not see any commanders except shade heda who we had never even heard about before? And all this business of him taking over madi? I was super bummed, the flame doesn’t work like that. It was more of a library. That’s the thing I disliked the most about season 6.

The 100 IS by far the best sci-fi drama ever so far! It'll be very very hard to beat this show. Excellent actors, always moving forward and overcoming so many obstacles and it's more like real life in the future than any other I've seen. Can't wait for season 7!!!
What I didn’t understand about The 100 is that how in just 97 years humanity devolved into non tech using hunter gatherers and formed an all new language. Seems like that would have taken longer
100 years is really short but the bombs destroyed everyone and everything is one way from humans turns into this.
The language called "trigedasleng" actually came from a strong dialict of American English. And I think that they developed it to be able to speak freely with each other without their enemies understanding them.
The non tech makes sense. Almost everything was destroyed,plus they had no power ,so no tech. They also survived only because of Beca ,she did the transition to their blood so they could handle the radiation. The problem is not that much the language , a language can change

Honestly usually shows only have a few seasons that are good and then every other season sucks but every season of the 100 is soooo great and it never gets boring, you just want more and more of the show, and a lot of shows are really predictable but this show got me guessing so muchhhh. So underrated

one of my favorite little details is how the symbols in the bunker are reminiscent of lincoln's tattoos! i also love the drawings of clarke's that we only see for a second, especially her rendering of murphy and emori when they were preparing to test nightblood on the latter. it's a great little moment that emphasizes how much clarke remembers her past and lets it inform her.
Ms mojo loves the 100 and bellarke a lot. But I'm totally here for it.

This is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. I hope it doesn’t go south the next season. I found season 6 acceptable. But I hope it doesn’t get too weird. I preferred the grounder politics and post apocalyptic setting..

One thing I always noticed in this show was the appearance of many car parts in the background. Saw many old 80's Chevy and Ford truck parts as well as many doors and hubcaps. Being a car guy, that was cool to see.
Jasper was my favorite character of the entire show right under Clarke (obviously) I really wish he would’ve lived longer 😕 maybe gotten through his depression and made it to space with Monty

The thing is every death means something. They dont die for nothing, when someone die, the others evolve into new characters, and that’s the beauty of it. I thought I could not continue after Lexa’s death. I was wrong, and also that Jaha’s son. Lol he died so fast but his character really has potential lol

Id like to think the reason the war started and why jasper got speared to begin with is because he was holding up a sign of mount weather to begin with.
So the grounders made a judgement mistake and assumed they are part of mount weather.
If jasper would not have held up a mount weather sign victoriously thins could have gone way different.
Mount Weather occupants couldn't leave without wearing suits, so there's that. I don't think it was really ever explained why
Am i the only one who didn’t like season 5? Like the shows been getting better no doubt. I loved season 3 even though they killed off there two most loved characters within a few episodes of each other. But season 5 tried to add dimension to there characters but just made them more one sided and black and white with Octavia basically going insane. Makes you wonder how Lexa handled it all after having to kill her only family at the conclave?
Season 3 was one of my favorite seasons so far omg! You're about the first person who also liked that season, everyone seems to hate it!
I think in a whole season 5 was great but I felt some of the middle episodes were just boring filler
