  • This a video on how to change out the headlight and turn signal lenses on a pretty popular ford truck. The first one took about 45 minutes. The second one took about 30 minutes.

Just a tip, at 2:38 you don’t need to screw out that adjuster. Take a 14mm 12 point socket on a swivel with a 12” extension and push it over the tabs from the back side, headlight pops right out.

This is something I may be doing this year or wait one more year. I don't like foggy looking headlights. Thanks for showing this, I needed to see this 😊👍

Awesome stuff Martin. 2004 ford up here in Nova Scotia would be a rust bucket. 15 years for a car here is its life unless you put it in storage for the Winters.

It only goes 2 miles a day most of the time. I bought it to tow my big boat back in the day. I thought about getting a new one but to replace what I paid $27K for new in 2004 would cost $60-70 K today. Nope, not me. It has 150,000 miles on it. I'm probably going to keep it and buy one of the new Ford Maverick hybrids after I can look and drive one.

They are way better now. You don't realize how dim they are until you get the clear ones again.

Saved about $300 doing it myself. My niece doesn't cook. It either goes in the microwave or somebody in a funny hat shows up at the door with a bag. Our electric grid ever goes down people will be fighting over a green whopper in the gutter after a week without electricity.
