Mac and cheese is my all time favorite food. Will definitely try this recipe. Only thing ill do differently is chop that cauliflower up just a little so it blends in better. Just a personal thing for me. Thank you for the video. Keep em coming!
Alicia, these all look wonderful & very family friendly. First on my list to try is the chicken veggie pasta (I think I’ve got the name wrong, but you know what I mean). That looks so delicious & I love all of the ingredients in it. Your Sloppy Joe Shepard’s Pie reminded me of a casserole I made when my kids were young & it was a huge favorite of my oldest son. It’s called Crusty Meat Pie. It had cooked ground beef, corn, onions & maybe celery. It’s been awhile since I made it. I think a can of tomato soup. The meat mixture went into a casserole dish & cooked for 45 min or so, then you make up a box of Jiffy Cornbread & spooned that on the top & it went back in the oven until the cornbread was done. It’s a little different flavor profile, but a similar construction. I’ll look it up & send it to you, I bet you & your family would like it. Great recipes as always.
The meat pie with the cornbread topping sounds delicious!! We would definitely love that! Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and New Years!
Thanks Alicia. It was interesting that’s for sure. We were all sick for Christmas. Mike & Kelly are much better, but I ended up with Covid. I was admitted Saturday the 30th & just got out today. It sure isn’t for the faint of heart! Even though I’m better, I still feel worn out & the cough makes it really hard to sleep. I’ve got a virtual visit tomorrow with my family dr tomorrow so I can get something for the cough. Then next Tuesday I go in to see my primary for a follow up. I hope you & your family had a wonderful Christmas! Happy New Year, I hope 2024 is full of good things & much love & joy for your family!
Oh no! Not a good start to the new year! I'm glad Mike and Kelly are doing better, sending you hugs, well wishes and prayers that you are better very soon! 🤗🙏@@lynnkavanagh7361
Thanks Alicia. I’m so happy to be home now, in my own Jammie’s & in my recliner! Thank you so much for your kind words. Happy New Year to you & your family!!
Tried your Cauliflower Mac 'n Cheese & it was ABSOLUTELY delicious! Cooking for 1, this recipe was very easy to cut in half and I'm betting, a great re-heat. The sauce SO GOOD, it would be great on vegetables or chicken. Wow, so good! Thanks for your videos, you do a great job.
Alicia, I am so glad this came through today! I think Facebook unsubscribed me I have missed watching you! These look yummy! will have to try them all!
I make taco soup with turkey breast one can of beans and one can of corn . Onions garlic can tomato sauce and chicken broth . I didn’t have Rogelio but put that in as well . No dairy
I just love your family friendly recipes. I didn't realize it's been so long with WW. Wonderful for you and husband! Favorite comfort food pizza! Mostly I make homemade to control ingredients. Definitely macncheese cauliflower recipe lover.
Good morning, Alicia. I see you've been very busy while I was gone. I'll continue to binge watch as there's a lot of good hauls and meal plans, thank you!! I had a great time in Orlando and New Smyrna Beach Florida, but always happy to get home. Hope all is well with you and your loved ones and I want to wish you a Healthy Happy New Year filled with Joy, Peace, Happiness and all the things you enjoy the most in life!! Hugs for your fur babies, Bella and Rocky, hope they're doing great too!!💖🙂Can't wait to try the chocolate covered almonds in your review!!😋
Linda! Hi!!🤗😃❤️ I was just thinking about you! So good to see you! I'm glad you had a good time in Florida, but yes, it is always nice to get home😊 I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Happy New year to you and yours💗
They all look yummy, I think my top one to try will be the cheese taco soup. Do you have a lightened up version of an English (sweet) pea salad? That is one of my childhood favorite sides. We always used a can of peas, some mayo, pickle relish (sweet), red onion, and a couple of boiled eggs. And sometimes a squirt of mustard. I'm not doing WW, just watching calories and protein. Tia
@@AliciaLynnYT it may be just a southern dish. I forgot to say, the peas are drained. It really is good and you can add different seasonings or spices to change it up.
Alicia, here’s the recipe I told you about! Crusty Meat Pie 1 medium onion, chopped 1 1/2 lbs ground beef 1 can condensed tomato soup 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp chili powder 16 oz can whole kernel corn, drained 1 box Jiffy Cornbread Mix Brown meat & onion, drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients (except Cornbread). Pour mixture into 1 1/2 quart greased casserole dish. Cover & bake at 350 for 1 hour. When hour is up, make up the Jiffy Cornbread according to the directions on the box. Spoon over the meat mixture & bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees per box directions. It’s great with a side salad or vegetable. Here’s a little history on where I got it. I was pregnant with my oldest (who’s now 47) & one of my coworkers & I liked to talk recipes & she shared this with me. My kids & hubby really like it & it’s been a family favorite for many years now. I hope your family enjoys it too!
I’m always happy to share recipes! I’ve gotten so many over the years from family & friends & when we make them, we have the great memories of who it came from! After I had Kelly, I had complications after I got home & my Dr put me on bed rest for a month. I told a really good friend from our church about it & she arranged meals for us from other parishioners for the entire time. It was such a blessing & we’ve got some wonderful recipes from them that are now family favorites.
I can understand that on the cauliflower, some people hate it! If you are ok with broccoli, you could sub with that or just use more noodles for more points. Those chickpea noodles are great!
I don't and haven't heard that. I assume that's to wash the coating off they put on the cheese to keep it from sticking in the bag? That coating makes it more difficult to melt well. But also, it's the lower fat content as well and rinsing wouldn't help that, unfortunately.
I use lower fat cheeses all the time. Have for the 14 years I've done WW. I love cheese too and that is the beauty of WW, everything in moderation and portion control. If you don't use a lot, it isn't a lot of points/calories. Weighing things like cheese will definitely give you a more accurate amount than using cup measurements, yes, so if you want to be really accurate, weigh it. But WW deals in all types of measurements for food, including cup measurements. Hope that helps!

I'm with you on the chopping up the cauliflower! I do now too, those pieces were a little too big! Lol Thanks for watching!

Alicia, here’s the recipe I told you about!
Crusty Meat Pie
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp chili powder
16 oz can whole kernel corn, drained
1 box Jiffy Cornbread Mix

Have you ever done lightened up Olive Garden stuffed chicken Marsala!
I haven't, but I can look into doing it if you would like me to add it to my list?
@@AliciaLynnYT yes! I'd love it!
These sound really great! Thank you so much for sharing. I'm just curious what bromulin brown is?😊
Brummel and brown is a yogurt based butter spread. It is 50% less calories and fat than butter. I love it!
Yummy!!!!!
Hi Tammy!!👋😊❤️
Yum
Hi Beth!! Hope you are doing well❤️
Wouldnt only using cauliflower and no maceroni lower the points more than one point?
The pasta is only 8 points total for the 4 oz I used in the recipe, so it would only lower each serving by 1 if you didn't use it.
I detest cauliflower but watched anyway but I’d have to sub something else lol. I do like chickpea noodles. They are also good for my liver condition
I can understand that on the cauliflower, some people hate it! If you are ok with broccoli, you could sub with that or just use more noodles for more points. Those chickpea noodles are great!
Do you have a recipe for the Alyssa’s healthy oatmeal cookies? They are so expensive.
I have never actually heard of those but I can look into them and see what I can come up with for a copycat recipe, if you'd like me to?
Do you rinse your reduced fat cheese, I heard somewhere you have to do that for it to melt well
I don't and haven't heard that. I assume that's to wash the coating off they put on the cheese to keep it from sticking in the bag? That coating makes it more difficult to melt well. But also, it's the lower fat content as well and rinsing wouldn't help that, unfortunately.
Can you use regular milk in the place of almond milk. I am one of those people who absolutely hates almond milk.
Absolutely!
What is Brummell and brown? Isn't that still butter?
Its made with yogurt and plant based oils, so no. It's 50% less fat and calories than butter
Is that a cup of Mac and cheese? 1/6 of the dish doesn’t help? Looks delish
I would say it's just over a cup.
Bremilin(sp?) melting? What is that?
I'm not sure what you are referring to out of the 4 recipes.
@@AliciaLynnYT The mac and cheese, the very first ingred you put in the fry pan. It looks like butter.
Ok, that was Brummel and brown spread. It is a light spread made with yogurt. It's 50% less calories and fat than butter.
Awesome. Thanks! @@AliciaLynnYT
I thought cheese wasn’t good on WW unless weighed out? Let me know please.. I love cheese LOL 😂

I don’t understand what that stuff was if it wasn’t butter
Brummel and brown spread. It's made with yogurt and less calories and fat than butter.
I don't think she's saving too many calories with just a little bit of cauliflower and a lot of pasta! 😂
Well Margie, I used 24 oz of cauliflower and 4 oz of chickpea pasta, so.......🤔 I think I'm going to have to disagree with you on not saving calories😉
