i was in Places D'armes Station saturday during the 900-07. It's hard to evacuate 200 persons out the station ... i was lucky because i had a metro operator stoped in my station to help me. It's was a bit annoying when this happened because a few persons doesn't understand what is going on and asked 20 questions when I try to evacuate everybody :/
@@SkyOfTheUniverse yes it's a very nice station , but it's one of the more confused one because the gate are on both sides of the decks so a lot of peoples take the wrong direction XD
i mean, does the vancouver, toronto or any other english speaking city in canada offer them in french as well? (i am from california, never been to canada)
wow multiple station evacuated the is extremely rare for multiple Station on the Orange,Green and yellow line to be shut down and evacuated for that type of situation must have been intense
me and my familly were on a familly metro trip during that and my dad (been living in the city for his whole life) said this only hapend two times in his life

Wow thanks for sharing the story from the perspective of a metro employee! You work at a very nice station.

Man, this was so serious that the STM had to acknowledge the existence of the English language
Yes, the crowd incapable of getting over losing a war that ended in 1763 had to acknowledge that the English language exists.
More and more English speaker are moving to Montreal, it’s good to have in emergency’s

They should start making every announcements in French and English because there more and more english speakers in Montreal
@@nsx968 Not gonna happen with Bill 96 lol
Wow great video. I never saw that before. Great job.

Yes it was rare
Sorry about that pepper spray Pat. People are bored.
It seems that way
As a Montrealian resident, I think that the connection Berri-UQAM to Champ de mars is the most dangerous.
Yeah good observation
me and my familly were on a familly metro trip during that and my dad (been living in the city for his whole life) said this only hapend two times in his life
I believe it! It is certainly rare. Unfortunately there has been a lot of pepper spray incidents the last few years so it's becoming more common
You know its serious when the announcements are made in english
Yep
I don't get it, someone pepper sprayed a creep so they evacuated multiple stations, not even just one? Or am I missing something?
Apparently it can spread between stations. I think they evacuate the nearest 4 stations or so
Can you please explain how the pepper spray can be dangerous and how the spread exactly occurs ?
It's an irritant of the eyes and throat. It can spread between stations through the tunnels and wind from the trains.
Is it being released by a member of public ? Very sad waste of everyone's time 🥺a
Take care x
Yeah it seems like it. Thanks Ruth
Thats quite rare, but a pepper spray released again?
Yep
MY GOD SHE *CAN* SPEAK ENGLISH!!???
Yeah for emergencies only lol
@@SkyOfTheUniverse I think i remember hearing "some" english announcements at the begging of the pandemic when they started enforcing masking up
@@MrEthanhines yeah I think so too haha

Why you say LINO instead of LIONEL
Yeah my bad. Sorry for the mispronunciation

D'accord! Merci!
When a government agency in Quebec has to acknowledge the existence of the English language for an announcement, you know it’s important
