We have the same issue in Toronto. We always get the announcement 'trespasser on the tracks' and that can cause a delay of 30 minutes. There needs to be more oversight of entrance into the transit stations, people who have mental health issues should not be allowed on if they are acting up, or have committed these acts in recent days.
OR we could just get platform screen doors! I think I read that there was even an initiative by the Quebec provincial government that they would fund 100% of the cost of retrofitting a network with platform screen doors.
Man I Feel Like Dem Ppl Are Always Out Of Control Right Now The Rule Is That They Cannot Walk On The Tracks Cuz Its Full Of Electricity And They Will Get Electrocuted So Thats What Happens When Ppl Drink Alcohol Or They Lose Their Mind So Now 1 Person Got Caught By The Cops
If the Montreal metro and Toronto TTC had security guards at all subwaystations from the moment they open until they close and allow security to tackle these trespassers we would not have 90% of these problems but no in Toronto TTC never see any security and they are NOT ALLOWED TO EVEN TOUCH anybody so what good are they .
The tracks are 750 volts of power if you touch the 2 metal rails your dead or if you touch the yellow bars and rails your dead. I heard a train driver died in longueuil because he was taking a leak and he got zapped by 750volts now drivers dont walk across the tracks when switching trains .

One of the reasons I don't use the public transport anymore, especially the Metro. A lot of service interruption because of these kind of things. I bought an ebike now and always ride it everyday for a year now, even in the winter and I love it. Save money and time.
@@WW3_Soon I always remove the battery which is the most expensive thing on the ebike, when I parked it somewhere and lock it. The theft will just stole my bike without the battery if that happened. Plus it's a fat bike, so it's heavy.

Not sure what your comments are suppose to mean? At the start of the video were you aware of what was happening? Neither did the police. They had to walk into a dark tunnel , there could have been a gang in there, there could have been a panic on the train, it could have been someone placing hazardous materials it could have been so much worse. Don't judge until you have walked in their shoes.😢 Bravo 👏 to these men and women who risk their safety for us.
Excellent work by SPVM and STM officers! And great camera work!
