    How would you finish the earring if you prefer post earring finding?

    • @EurekaCrystalBeads
      @EurekaCrystalBeads  4 месяца назад

      Hi! I would recommend a post earring finding with a loop down at the bottom. If the loop is facing the side, you go exactly as in the video, and if the loop is facing the front, then at one point in the herringbone, instead of adding 2 beads as normal, you add 2 15/0s, then the erring post (mind the front), then another two 15/0s, and then 2 beads that will be a continuation of the herringbone on the back side. You then skip the 2 beads that will be a continuation of the herringbone and go back through the 4 beads and the earring post, and through the bead in the front herringbone that doesn't have a thread in it yet, then back up through the second bead in the pair. It's basically herringbone with an intermission of single beads in the middle. For post earring findings I'd recommend these:

    How did you twist it and how do you untwist it

    • @EurekaCrystalBeads
      @EurekaCrystalBeads  9 месяцев назад +1

      Do you mean the twisting at the moment of putting it on the crystal? If so, it turns out I just twisted it as I pulled it all together, and you just loosen it up a bit and untwist, you don't have to take the thread out like I did 😅

    Beautiful! But it's a little over explained, and I wanted to move along. I have ADHD and it's hard to get through.

    • @EurekaCrystalBeads
      @EurekaCrystalBeads  9 месяцев назад +2

      Haha 100% understandable! What helps me is speeding stuff up in the settings, or skipping 10 sec with the arrows on my keyboard. It's always difficult to find the balance between underexplaining and overexplaining, so we tend to lean towards the latter for those who don't have much experience with beads 💙💛

      C'mon, have you never been a beginner who needs their beading a bit overexplained 🤣
