That's weird. I'd be more looking forward to when the Polaris is released and the game is stable enough to do something with it. But I don't plan to buy a Polaris.
The missiles under the co-pilots seats are cool looking, but if it were a real ship... well, you're literally sitting on a warhead. Not just one, but three on each side. If a shot went into one of those... well, your testicles might end up flying faster than your ship, lol.
To be fair I don’t believe server meshing is going to come with 1000 player servers, they’re just testing its limits. I imagine it would work perfectly fine with the normal 110 servers.
@@Rockyroad321 1000 player servers is achievable, since the servers are split into shards, the point is to get to splitting the shards at a system level and then planetary level and then after you've got server meshing you move onto dynamic server meshing, where you spin the shards up on demand as capacity demand increases.
@@Rockyroad321 Except content is definitely not the problem at this point. The fact the game doesn't work, or when it does feels absolutely terrible is the problem.
@@dandylion1987 this is literally not the live server, it's a test server, for max player cap testing of the meshing tech that isn't yet in the game, people are play testing it to give the network devs real world data.
All in all a buggy test with some okay segments for my play enjoyed the stream and ur a real survivor for sticking in for 5 hours that’s some concentration 🫡
04:21:12 yeah, you 'jumped servers' and the data for Microtech was STILL NOT PRE-LOADED i.e. it appeared to load at the Destination, streaming-data bug. 04:47:00 wait, so you have to Ship Terminal, Deliver Ship, Elevator to Hangar, re-Deliver Ship from Underground in Hangar... what an awful game-flow.
*All these "lossless scaling" scammers.* The name alone is a name cause even the best upscaling, NVIDIA's hardware-based DLSS isn't "lossless". And why would you BUY some private guy's upscaling software when you already get the one from AMD for free, and we also get CIG's for free and NVIDIA's for free as well if you have an NVIDIA card.
39 mins in and it looks like a fail so far. There are unacceptable delays. Server had problems with assigning elevator, almost everyone was standing still, dude fell through textures in his hangar, and it ended in a 30k. Is this a success? CIG can't handle 500 players.
CIG can't even code their way out of a wet paper bag, and people expect server meshing? even if they hired john carmack they'd screw up a simple shooter. maybe they shouldn't host of amazon's overpriced garbo hardware and should buy some amd 128 core epycs but if they actually fixed their servers people would realize their game is an empty shell with nothing to actually do
I can't wait until my Polaris is released so I can log in, walk around in it and then log out because the game is so unstable.
Exactly lol

😂
Can’t wait until my 600i rework is released
While you wait, I play with F8

that clip where he's floating above micro just made me think of neverending story!
Oh my God Olli this vod brought me so much laughter at the expense of all of your pain 😂 thank you!

So what was the results of the server meshing tests? CIG needs to keep testing server meshing to get it into PTU
he gets in a ship for the first time at 4:03:27
really hope CIG gets enough data from these stress tests to not let this happen when 4.0 hits
They'll keep pushing it back
Cig is a shell company. Don't expect anything but obfuscation through multiple IP's.
Absolute scam.
This guy is paid to promote it.
Pure ridicule.

36:25 that happened to me a lot, in microtech only, when i was on 16gb ram and gpu was 1050ti.
Can't wait to spawn in my own personal hangar, when logging in.
@olli43 How likey do you think that they deliberately makes 30K´s and diffirent chashes, to test recovery and stuff?
13:10 guarantee this has been clipped already lol
Is Pyro in this preview?
I cant see myself playing this game anymore
???
Give it a couple of years and you should be fine
Bold thing to say considering they’ve been adding more content this year than they have for the last 4 years.

He's wrong about not being able to buy it, all 3 versions are available as a ship upgrade
Well that didn’t go well.
I'm sure CIG expected this and gathered invaluable data from these tests. So, in a way, that *did* go well.
23 mins first gameplay

damn near 40k views of this guy trying to load into this game still love star citizen tho
Isnt it beautiful
😂😂😂.... good lord! 🫣
4.0 this year guys
I think this is not tests. This is only version which they got and they are lost in space :D
Hahaha
I wanna spend 48,000 bucks in this. Where can I sign up?
sorry you have to spend 1,000 bucks first and THEN you can sign up for the 48,000 dollar plan
@@a.j.6832 wasnt that 2,500? 1K is lame!
1000 players on a 890🤞🤞
Seems like a poor place to put something explosive especially since your ship might see combat.
Hope you get back to 100% in no time.

Server meshing is basically a joke at this point
just lost the stream

They found 1000 people who still play this crap?
Are people still playing star-citizen? Forgot it was still even in development
They had a good run scamming people

How many employees does cig have?
Why can't they do this testing?
Pretty tired of being treated like shit by this company.
It literally says you're testing the game when you buy it, unless you didn't read it and just clicked acknowledge.
