You just cannot compete with that firepower literally no where to hide
Air Superiority is taken pretty serious by the military. If the engagement takes longer than 20 mins. US generals consider the mission a fail. they know we lose more troops after the 20 min mark of any fire fight. We know our ground troops can only keep focus at full capacity in 20 min segments of fire fights. other wise we sustain heavy losses..
@@grandmaster-grouch that's very interesting does this mean they lose focus and fatigue quicker meaning diminishing returns for the superior force and the opposite for the lesser force? 20 minutes isn't s along time, why are we working 8 hrs a day haha

@@sudstahgaming the 20 min time line has to do with assets allocation.. it takes 20 mins to move a artillery unit. it takes 20 mins for a wing of A10s to arrive.. any closer would mean the area of operation is in danger of close fire.. i share this with you in hopes to open your mind.

First of all, this was an "airstrike on terrorists"....the US armed forces have NEVER engaged "insurgents"; the US armed forces ALWAYS engages terrorists....call them what they are.
Second, I watched one on a daytime firing exercise aboard Camp Pendleton Marine Base, on the range to the east of Camp Pulgas, the Artillery Regiment's home base. Very cool. The AC-130 was at what I thought was a high altitude but probably not more than 10,000 feet, probably less, and it was firing its 105mm gun.
DEVASTATING IN ITS EFFECT ON THE TARGET. Artillery from the air...

So this is actually a simulation. I say this because of two observations: 1) The "insurgents" look A.I. animated and 2) At minute 6:34 thereabouts I watched an "insurgent" walk through a pick-up truck without stopping.

Patman Crowley Originally called Operation Flashpoint, Arma is pretty much a more tactical shooting game. The most recent game, Arma 3, was released in 2013 (if I remember correctly...) and is set in the 2030s. To be honest the game is only fun with mods made by the community such as the 2 shown in this video, which are A3TI (makes thermal imaging more realistic) and USAF Mod (adds planes that the USAF uses such as the F22, F35A etc.)
