I’m not sure. You might try a tiny bit of dark wax on them to see if that would work. Also maybe lightly brush and I mean very lightly, with some coffee or tea on them and let dry. That might work!! Clara

I would have set the lock horizontally bathe edge so it looks like it's useable.

Don’t ready have to paint the side of the book that you glue, save your paint/ wax. U can use a masking take to remind yourself

Is there anything that can be done to make the book pages look old too. It's all nice and old looking but then you see the bright white pages.

What kind of clay do you use in the molds?
I used IOD air dry clay.
