Wow I feel really envious, the creativity shown in these designs is really wonderful and they are oozing the characters personality. I am assuming that another team must've made this game considering its in mandarin, we only gotten standard guns/swords in persona 5 most of the time, but these characters have such variety not to mention the clothes of all the party members are also so nice to look at. The only thing I'm not sure on is the writing quality considering this is sort of a spin-off of Persona 5? I'm not exactly sure how they will write this story or how region specific the type of story they're trying to tell is.
Rather than another team its more like another company. Blackwing games is the developer of this game, but ofc atlus keep sedning them resources for P5.

I don't understand people who say some of them ''look just like regular dudes'' when that was the point in the original games as well, though as much as I like the designs of these characters, in P5 their costumes normally are attached to their story and their views on rebellion, so i'd have to know whatever that story is to have a better understanding about the quality of that design.
IIRC, most of the new playable characters are cognitive echos (like the P3 and 4 MC bossfights in Royal). But they will have confidant equivalents in the real world

Ngl I like this direction for P5 going forward. They can both continue on with 6 while also sticking with the phantom thieves as long as feasible. … plus this will likely unite both the vanilla and royal TLs (which means Zenkichi, Sumi, and Erina in the same game along with the boatloads of newcomers). Maybe even PT forms for Persona 1-4 characters! 😊 The possibilities are endless with this! I love P5 but I definitely agree that they need to move on to 6 sooner rather than later; I see this as the best of both worlds! A solid compromise oozing with potential. (Note: while I do like genshin and R1999, there’s very few other games with a gacha system that I can wholeheartedly recommend in good faith; with those two games the gacha is not actually required to progress. Dragalia Lost used to be in my top recommendations before Nintendo axed it. Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Starlight stage replaced it in my roster but that might get replaced with this game.)

Though I also assume that wouldn’t be the hardest hurdle either considering those characters are the only ones who have the red tape to go through. Considering these kinda games, they likely have plenty of time to mess around before releasing them. TLDR, it’s not the most likely but also not entirely impossible. I still say this is a good compromise between getting more phantom thieves stuff and finally moving on to the next mainline game.
Key is probably my favorite, just look at that PSYCHO stare! This is the best they can do to make P5 relevant and profitable AND not make us tired of it. Giving new characters, new stories, interactions; that's one of the few positive things a gacha game can bring. And since this is a paralel project, it won't get in the way of P6. Hopefully.
I know it’s very very unlikely but I hope a console version is released if we end up getting a world wide releases. I don’t care if the game is good or not as long as I have fun playing the game, that’s all that really matters. The game gets a lot of hate but I love it. I think it adds an interesting spin on the P5 formula which was already changing up the Persona formula as a whole.

Main and interlude story focuses on the core 5 (Wonder, Luffel, Arai, Shun, Liko), event stories possibly focus on the Phantom Idols real life counterparts.

Since P5X doesn't have almighty element, plus physical and gun are considered elements, the assigned elements/gameplay might be different from the console titles. Best guess Sumi is a slash DPS with high crit values, Sophia is a bless healer, Zenkichi is a self stat increase (but with drawbacks) slash DPS, Toshiro is a gun support with team cover/protection.
Man, this could have been a great Persona 5 spin-off with all this new story and characters. Dont like the idea to make Persona a gachapon game, but I guess I´m not the target, the people who likes these genre of games, hope that all of you enjoy this and have fun!

Something I can't stop noticing is that some UI animations look like they are missing some frames in-between unlike the original ones from P5/P5R. I guess they simplified a lot of them to make them end faster

Im sorry, a lot of the ranged weapons these characters used made sense but a minigun-- for a Phantom Thief... Hm... And also a FCKING RAILGUN?! WHAT THE FRESH HELL?!
And before anyone mentions the Jail in Strikers, those were emplacements and fit the script for a jail. A carried railgun such as the one Bui has just doesn't make sense when we look at the other weapons such as a crossbow or a blowdart. All of the weapons match the characters, sure, but the railgun and the minigun is just out of left field.

Reminds me of how the spin off mobile game of Persona 1 was found and recovered last year. Uploaded to steam too which was odd, nonetheless it was an impressive lost media find for 2023
Something I can't stop noticing is that some UI animations look like they are missing some frames in-between unlike the original ones from P5/P5R. I guess they simplified a lot of them to make them end faster

Actually you are mistaken, romance options were added as of this demo. Merope is one of those options, because it wouldn’t be a persona game if you didn’t have one of those moments with the velvet attendants

Im sorry, a lot of the ranged weapons these characters used made sense but a minigun-- for a Phantom Thief... Hm... And also a FCKING RAILGUN?! WHAT THE FRESH HELL?!
And before anyone mentions the Jail in Strikers, those were emplacements and fit the script for a jail. A carried railgun such as the one Bui has just doesn't make sense when we look at the other weapons such as a crossbow or a blowdart. All of the weapons match the characters, sure, but the railgun and the minigun is just out of left field.

@@troncho1385 Actually, touche, I forgot about that. Then again, Akechi was an imposter as you will, so a falsified realism is not too far. That wouldn't fully explain the connection of out of pocket ranged options for anyone of the caliber really.

@@you7414 Probably not the Rotary GL, eh... The stock GL is negligible... But Futaba's UFO is her Persona. Personas are not supposed to be discreet exactly.
