This is the first one I’ve seen that actually works for people in wheelchairs. I think that there should always be someone who truly understands our needs to help design.
as someone that currently relies on a rollator and will probably end up in a wheelchair; thank you so much for this. thank you for considering our special needs
What a breath of fresh air for wheelchair users. Incredible use of space well thought out that for once actually WORKS. Congratulations on this magnificent design. 🦋
I'm not in a wheelchair, but I'm disabled and love the idea of everything being lower. I'm 5'3". I have one cat. Only thing is I live in Florida USA and want to stay here. Preferably the Orlando area.
I wish I lived in the UK to stay in one. I'm disabled with mobility issues and this would definitely accommodate! We don't go on holiday all that often because of accommodation issues. Well done you!!
Thank you Helen 😊! If you ever find yourself visiting the UK, there's a growing list of our pod locations here >>> www.omnipodsandcabins.co.uk/pod-locations
Hi Crystal, Sorry we've not got around to replying until now. These are available in the UK, but we can look into the possibility of shipping to the US. More information about our range of pods is available on our website, and please feel free to contact the team if you have anymore questions - www.omnipodsandcabins.co.uk Thanks 🏕
Hi there, Sorry we've not got around to replying until now. All our pods are designed with the structural integrity needed to fit a ceiling hoist. Whilst we don't fit the hoist ourselves, it is an option for us to build you a pod with the beams in place ready to fit one. I hope this helps. Please feel free to get in touch with the team using the contact page on our website. www.omnipodsandcabins.co.uk Thanks 😊
Hi Cindy, Sorry we've not got around to replying until now. You can find the layout plans for each different pod from our range on the Omnipods and Cabins website under 'The Range' tab. www.omnipodsandcabins.co.uk Thanks, 👍
There is no such thing as "Wheelchair accessible" or "handicapped accessible". The two terms have different meanings. "Wheelchair accessible" means being able to get around a space while in a wheelchair. Wheelchairs are different heights and different widths. "Handicapped accessible" means meeting the needs of the individual based on their spacific disability (and abilities). "Accessible" public restrooms don't work for everyone who has a disability. The same can be said for hotel rooms and bathrooms. People only think in broad general terms that ultimately don't work. Able bodied people are often the ones who are designing things they think will actually work...until they don't.

always the assumption that people can get out of their wheelchairs and transfer to a bed or a toilet without any form of assistance.
