My Bose gold radio in a 91 corvette is stuck at 1:00. When I turn the power knob, it briefly shows a radio station but No sound. Then back to 1:00. No power attenae function. I can pull the radio but I’m a little hesitant to go after the under dash controller. The car had been in a warehouse all it’s life with 9500 miles when I got it last year.
I have the exact same radio. I’m not getting any power. I’ve confirmed power is going to the radio it just won’t come on. Would like to know where to start looking inside this thing. Let me know thanks!
Thanks a lot for videos. I have a 2002 Ford radio/CD. THe radio keeps jumping into Seek and only stays on my chosen station for a few minutes, then it Seeks. What can I do, please?
Excellent video. My 1989 C4 car had a battery drain, the Chevy dealer mechanic said it was due to the clock. He unhooked the fuse from the panel and haven't had a problem since then. However, I'm wondering if I try your easy fix as shown, do you think this would also take care of the battery drain so I can try and plug in that fuse again? Also, I'm having a real hard time changing out my mirror and sunvisors because of those clips, do you have any videos about how to remove those electrical clips?
Great video and great tip. !!
Wow. Seems so simple. Can't wait to try it on mine great job. I will let you know

Also, do you have a recommended head unit to replace the original, i.e. just a quick plug and play unit.
