This is why I love Marie and Yuu. Yuu is Izanaghi and Marie is Izanami. It make sense in this song how Marie feel. She miss someone and found it in Inaba.
This song is so beautiful but really disturbing if you know what it means. Major spoilers below. It's heavily influenced by what Izanami likely felt when Izanagi "betrayed" her, which is only fitting considering who Izanami is in P4G. There is extensive use of "dying it red", another term for basically killing someone or something in a brutal fashion (at least, it makes the most sense in this context). The "Dazzling Smile" is implied to be Izanagi's, which Izanami saw before they split up and became opposing forces, and if Izanami sees it again, she'll "dye it red". And in P4G (and therefore the animation as well), in the Hollow Forest Marie rejects everyone else and tries to kill all of them, including the MC (Izanagi). They all try to pacify her with their friendship (their "dazzling smiles") and make things right, but it only causes her to double her efforts in trying to kill them.
Yeah, the first time I hear it, I think it was just ending song that I will forget soon. But when I watch furthee episode without skipping, I realize there is something with this song. Then I search info about Marie outside of the anime(because I only play vanilla). Then suddenly I feel sad and love Marie so much. Then I'm happy to know the truth that Marie is Izanami. So, in Shin Megami Tensei Waifu War 4 Golden a.k.a. Persona 4 Golden, Marie is my favoutite.
I know there's not supposed to be a "canon Narukami partner", but come on. They literally made an entire anime just to ship Yu/Marie. I don't remember them doing that for Yu/Chie, Yu/Yukiko, etc, lol.

Izanami's not a persona, neither is Nyx, neither are the thousands of other gods and demons from various other religions or beliefs and even if that were the case, Marie is a fragmented part of Izanami. she's no more a god or demon than Ameno-Sagiri, or Kunino-Sagiri. she only becomes a god after the defeat of Izanami-no-Okami, where she absorbs her powers to attain full god-hood lastly, as i stated before, Marie was a resident of the Velvet Room before learning of her origins. thus has the ability of "one who governs over power", much like Margaret, Elizabeth, Theo, and the Twins from the soon-to-be-released Persona 5. She's even seen summoning Kaguya in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (if you want to consider that game cannon)
She has the potential to be one. Her husband is already one. The story behind how she became the Izanami known is pretty tragic too. Everything she know is deeply rooted in pain. Honestly she's better suited for DanganRonpa.

Tearonex I got into the Persona series by watching the original anime. I agree that it was awesome, although the last couple of episodes confused me. Now that I know about the game, the anime makes even more sense.
Dee Rocket I can't say the anime is flawless, but P4G is easily my favorite game. I can find very few faults with it. The only one I can think of is how long it takes to get into the core of the game. There is a lot of intro, but I still think it works well.

the golden version is a alternative version of a new game plus....with Yu maxed social abilities and obtaiined the dodecagon spread fusion
the protagonist this time is Marie...thats why not a lot of battles
The Animation seemed very social and chill to me. It was funny but it didn't feel like the game at all to me.
