    Walt never has a plan to go and rescue Jesse. Not until after he gives the money to Elliott. Walt talks with Pete and Badger is when he realizes Jesse is alive and working with Jack.

      I don't think you're in the minority at all. The Better Call Saul finale/final season was a monumental disappointment for me and many others whose comments I've read. There will always be BCS zealots who will label everything about the show as brilliant but I think they're deluded.
      Don't get me wrong, the early seasons were definitely of a high quality but it didn't last sadly. Like with most things, the pandemic probably played a big role in sabotaging positive momentum. It was clearly delayed and then rushed and wrapped up sloppily.
      At the same time, even before the pandemic, it seemed with many episodes they kept over doing a kind of delayed gratification effect. They would fill certain episodes with too much slow moving, bland material so that by the time you got to the end of the show there would often be some type of cliff hangar forcing you to wait until the next week to get to the meat of the story. When you added it all up, most of the season ultimately consisted of boring, filler material exposition with little bits of material that was actually vibrant.

  • @sopranosfan11
    @sopranosfan11 Год назад

    Wow. All of that intense, expensive, secretive preparation for flashback scenes which weren't anything special at all in my opinion. Sorry but I still have a bad taste in my mouth from how Better Call Saul's last season ended. It started out promising, the halfway point was excitingly shocking, but then the second half was extremely underwhelming and boring.
    Don't get me wrong, the first three seasons were excellent but after season three everything started to wane. I think Michael McKean's character Chuck should have remained a key character throughout the whole series. He was the shining star of the show in my opinion.
