Oh yeah, season 4 got you under its spell good, but very understandable. (This is probably why we havent gotten a agent carter reaction in a while, youre just binging AOS season instead, but i get it, this season is amazing so no worries, lol) Edit: Also, the rest of season 4 is even better, youre about to hit episode 15 and its straight up prestige television from that point on until the end of the season in my eyes. So buckle up, Agent Gavin.
The reason May could stay under longer than we were told she could, is because Jemma was doing chest compressions. So, in movies and TV, chest compressions are inaccurately depicted as restarting a person’s heart. In reality, chest compressions are only buying the victim some time. You need a defib to restart the heart. When the heart stops, it’s no longer circulating your blood. Stopping blood flow to the brain means no more oxygen being supplied to the brain. No oxygen getting to the brain, for an extended period of time, results in brain damage or death. By doing chest compressions, you are manually pumping the heart, which is forcing blood to flow. Any oxygen that remains stored in the blood vessels will be carried to the brain and proper chest compressions will cycle the lungs as well, providing SOME fresh oxygen to the system. You do this while someone else get a defibrillator in order to shock the heart back into function. So to sum up, May’s brain was kept alive because Jemma was manually pumping her heart, and Radcliffe shocked her heart awake which restored autonomous function. The show accidentally depicted a realistic use of CPR, even though the dialog shows that the characters didn’t know better. If someone falls and their heart has stopped, perform chest compressions, trading off with another person when you get tired, until help arrives. Yes, you will likely break their ribs. Yes, you may need to remove shirts and undergarments. Receiving broken ribs and having your chest exposed is a small price to pay for having your life saved, though.
@@gracebrown3074 yeah per the pinned comment he was already on 4x14 when this video was posted 9 days ago, but YT members are still only 2 episodes ahead of everyone else if that’s what you were wondering
It's the second instance of inhumans being hunted using SHIELDS list, the first being Lash and his hacker, Jiaying was most defitenly right, like I tried to argue back then, but didn't want to spoil ahead obviously.
It's crazy to think about it, agent of shield did a better job of introducing Inhumans than the series wearing the name "Inhumans"😭 also Ep 4x15 is THE best episode of this season 🔥
Don't watch the Inhumans show. It's both bad and doesn't even make sense with AoS. Like the Royal Family and Attilan make 0 sense with the whole Hive Backstory for Inhumans. They should've made Attilan the destroyed Civilization on Maveth. That would've been a smart tie-in.
The Inhumans was rough. It was run by Scott Buck, same guy who ruined the end of Dexter, and tried (many would say successfully) to sabotage Iron Fist with the first season. I personally think Iron Fist got better in the second season (with a new showrunner), and Dexter tried to fix its' ending by having the extra New Blood season, but it fell apart at the end too. How that dude kept getting work, I'll never know.
The real kicker is that most of the people who wrote for the Inhumans show were also drafted in from other Marvel Netflix shows. Just how they could produce critically-acclaimed work over there but just phone it in for a paycheck on Inhumans saddens me to this day.
Senator Nadeer (at the end) is played by Parminder Nagra who first came on to the scene as the star of the movie Bend it Like Beckham (with Keira Knightly)
I love this show with my whole heart! All the seasons are amazing in their own ways but s4 is something else I remember when I was first watching this show for the first time (it was like 3 years ago now dang) I literally finished S4 is 2 sittings. Half of it one day, the other half the next day
My parents start season 4 today which is exciting, I’m sure they’ll get through it very fast but 2 sitting omg hahaha. I’m binging too and on 4x15 next so I’m excited, episode 15s are usually really great
Idk what toss the turtle is, but the intro and outro are linked in the description and the music for the beginning of the video is from Castle Crashers
I liked The Inhumans okay, except that the pacing was too slow: the story they spooled out could have been told in about half the number of episodes. I liked most of the characters, though; AND, enjoyed my first live action look at Anson Mount’s Black Bolt, which he got to reprise in Multiverse of Madness😊
Too slow? Interesting, I thought they sped through too much. I mean, anyone familiar with the Inhumans (which, admittedly, was few), knew that Ramses was going to betray his family, but doing that in the first episode meant there was zero connection. And I get that Medusa's(?) hair would be expensive to animate, but again, 1 episode before Ramses shaves her head? It was the same problem I had with Gotham, "Let the Wayne's live past the pilot dammit, so I actually care when they die!" Anson Mount was great though, felt like I was one of the only people legitimately excited when he showed up in Multiverse of Madness.
@@lashier13 This shows how I didn't know much of anything about these characters going into the show and therefore didn't realize what was getting sped through. Being naive to the Inhumans property, and used to the denser accumulation of story beats in a typical Agents of Shield season, made it feel leisurely by comparison. I WAS disappointed to hear that we weren't getting any more episodes. Silver lining: now enjoying Anson in the Trek franchise, where he gets to speak! and even sing!! 🤩
@@kelstwin3176 Right on, I enjoyed the characters too and think they could have done some retooling to improve it but Marvel having their first bonafide flop made them a little gun shy. And I clearly don't remember Inhumans as well as I thought I did, cause rereading my comment, I was like, "Ramses sounds wrong." It was Maximus, Black Bolt's brother was named Maximus.🤦♂️ Anyway, the fact that we don't have a six foot tall, teleporting bulldog in the MCU is possibly the biggest loss of all.

I watch Dr Mike on RUclips, so I know all about this at this point hahaha
Replacing May with a robot? Nah, that's crazy - that won't ever happen. 😉
[Not a spoiler because he's on 4x14 already!]
Lol yea when he said it, i was like damn when it actually does happen, he won't see it coming 😅

This episode is kind of underrated, its not the best shield episode, but it has some cool moments like the fight in the EMP room

I really like the fight scenes in this episodes, they are very cool and unique, and definetly makes this episode memorable and stand out.
Yeah I didn't actually even notice it until editing, that one mack, fitz, coulson scene was a one-shot, always like those
Yo-yo is a top tier character

They do reference this fish oil stuff, but otherwise its only worth watching to make fun out of how bad it is.

It was originally planned as a phase 3 movie too. So many AoS fans have been hoping to see at least some cameos on the big screen.
I love YoYo so much! She was such a great edition to the team

I almost wanted to wait until all these reactions were released so I could binge s4 like that, but these double drops work too!
Season 4 is the best season for me! Season 2 was spectacular but seasons 4,2 and season 3 are best in my opinion.
I only got 1 notification so I watched 4x4 before 4x3. Woops.
You have no idea how much I love this season.
The Inhumans miniseries isn't great, but you should still watch it just so you can see Lockjaw
Is the music in your outro the background song from Toss The Turtle???
