I’m hearing this sometimes downshifting at low speed show do I fix it?
Tighten the coupler I guess
97 coupe w/ 122k here.. I have the same damn slop at that bushing. Is it replaceable or does the whole lower box need replaced?
I removed the lower box, tapped out the stock nylon bushings, and had a friend make some new bushings to fit out of brass on a lathe. No slop now.
Cool. I think I'll end up just swapping it out for a MGW shifter, it comes with a new lower box which is nice. Thanks for the reply.
I have the same slopiness in my 2012 c6. When you put the new bushing in was there still side to side play in the shifter?
