AGG-PRO tower above the Hillhead Show visitors with the massive Jonsson och Söner L130 Jaw Crusher.
Peter Haddock caught up with Charlie Eastwood half way up the machine to find out more.
Charlie: “This is a very robust machine that sites can use for many years. It has a Caterpillar Inc. 160kW/380kVA dual power engine and a 400kVA generator.
This setup allows the operator to switch from the generator to mains power with ease. This makes the machine very efficient and able to run on diesel or electric.
“The L30 weighs in at 120 tonnes, and it has a Nordberg C130 jaw crusher with an intake that is 1300mm x 1000mm. When it comes to productivity, depending on the machine spec and settings, you are looking at processing between 450-750 tonnes of material an hour.”
