A friendly tip you should cut another 2) 33 in 2x4 studs to screw the 3/4 in ubolts and use wood screws instead of drywall screws but thank you for the video ill be building one today for my wife 💪🏼💪🏼

I know the price will pay off it’s self in the long run I do not want even more back pain 🙄 I’ve only been lashing since October so I know fixing my chair situation will help with my time ☺️
It will pay off in the long run, massage tables are definitely not the most comfortable to lash on! Once you get your recliner be sure to make this base it will sit your clients perfectly for you♥
I really want to make the switch but I worry that if I were to get a client on the heavier side they wouldn’t fit in the recliner cuz the seating area on Recliners seem a little narrow

Love the idea, just need a few little tweaks to the structure of these platforms. A center 2x4 would be wise to have to support the weight. You can see when someone steps on it that it bows inward. Not ideal. The other bit that might be better for safety, would be to use toggle bolts or longer screws to screw into the center 2x4. These 1 inch screws into plywood isn't ideal. The person toppling over that they mentioned could possibly happen again in the future. I appreciate the idea and good jumping off point for what I'm looking for!

Taesha March make sure the chair you are sitting on adjusts to make sure you are sitting comfortable. Get a seat cushion and also make sure your clients sit back all the way towards you! ❤️
Nichelle Hunter our lash course does travel around, it’s a 5 day extension course. If you can’t take ours I’d research different companies. I always recommend a course longer than just 1 single day. You want to make sure your getting enough hands on training ❤️

Karine Silva yes! I did everything exactly as they did in this video and my clients love it and my back feels much better. I switched from a massage table. The recliner is easy to clean and easy to assemble. Make sure you bolt it down so it doesn’t rock

I've been lashing on a recliner for years. I have made my own makeshift thing to go under my chair. I am looking into making one like yours. Do you ever have issues with the base sliding with the chair? Would you recommend putting something sticky or rubber under the base and fabric? Can that wood hold up to 300 LBS?
It seems to stay put, we have our chairs and bases on the wood floor. Its actually nice we can slide them if we need to move them but they do not slide easily. Yes they can hold up to 300 lbs we've never had any issues with them! As long as the chair is bolted to the base you should have zero issues ♥
