- This is a song I wrote during last year's Hanami. I took the train to Gojo-shi in Nara to a park on the Yoshino river and just sat there on the grass taking in the scenery, sometimes just singing to myself since there were few other people around to hear.
There's nothing quite like going no place in-particular to enjoy nothing in-particular on a day when you have all the time daylight provides to do all the nothing you want... especially when that coincides with that short but sweet time of year when God turns the trees pink.
I like little moments like that, they make good memories.
