The USB ports on the dock work fine whit the switch connected on this extended clable? The time's charge of the console is same time of switch connected directly on the dock?
I know your answer has 9 months, but it could be useful for other people :
About the extender, if you don't take a very long, it's okay. The best option (for me), is to take a 0.5m cable you plug to the Switch. Take a good brand where you're sure to have good speed. For this cable they say it support 10Gbps speed, which is more than enough. Just avoid to take 2M cables, because it's useless.
About the one on the video I can't say. Reviews on Amazon are good, but in my case I will buy the UGreen one given I know this brand and I will be sure for the speed.
About the charge time I think it's not much different. The fock deliver 30w (about) and the cables can easily manage that. The main question is about the general power since the dock is supposed to improve Switch perfs. I don't think there's much difference but I'm not sure (The video is quite incomplete). I'm going to buy an extender today on Amazon so i'll see it (I'm bored with the dock where my case can hardly fit)
Symphonial it worked?
Is it safe? Heard a lot of scary stories with 3rd party docks. Although this is just an extender, any chances of bricking? Thank you for this video BTW!
KatimaGaming so far I haven’t had an issue with it, From what I read Nintendo fixed the bricking issues with 3rd party docks and such. As I said no issues as of yet, but try and buy at your own risk. Also your welcome glad to make videos like this.
@@TheSyndicateGamer76 aslong as the cable is just a cable without a chip in it controlling the power delivery, than it is 100% safe, the issue was with chips emulating the protocol for pd wrong and the switch not using a up to date pd protocol
It's working?
So like... wii u on switch.. got it
