Trev, at the top of your 3 fields, there’s a shed. Sell the shed, you have a collectible in there that a museum will pay 10k for. There are 25 on the map
FYI: Hay is dried grass. Straw is the dried stalks of other crops such as barley or wheat. Hay is used as an animal feed wheras straw tends to be used for bedding and as a floor covering.
Trev! Get your grass grown and ready to cut. Lease, not buy your baler and wrapper for the first while. Don't be afraid to lease equipment for a short time if you find it worth it. Get your silage game on and sell your bales! First note the fermentation time...don't sell until ready, they'll still be wet grass. That's how I get rich and rolling in the early game.
Dont forget about the tractors GPS. Main update for the version. Hold down the B button and change to steering assist. That gives you the most efficient way to use the tractors in the field. It will also control the teactor and make full, strait passes.
Canola, soybeans, and peas are some of the most lucrative cash crops. Also, you can spend a little money to cultivate a rice field and then flood the field and use that as a source for free water. You have such a hard time with those trailers because the ones with the front dolly are meant to be attached to another trailer, not directly to a vehicle.
Or you can just attach that trailer with the front dolly to the front of the tractor, that way is easier to handle and to move around only when backing up those silly trailers
Put down the smallest rice paddy, flood it, and fill your trailer from there. 😀 I am a disabled person, and the MacDon is basically my power wheelchair on a grand scale: power up front, casters on the back.
Loans are in the financial section of the main pause menu. Same button you use to see your crops and stuff there’s a dollar sign icon that will give you a financial breakdown and that’s where you can get a loan. In FS22 and prior games it was $5K but you can go up to $500K
The $500k is just the starting point too. As you expand your farm and have more value added, the loan amount increases. The payments are pretty low once you start bringing in good money, so it's a great way to expand quickly, then you can just pause for a couple months, pay it down, or do what I do and just keep the loan floated for eternity because I'd rather keep expanding things than pay it down haha
Wait until trev figures out you can accept contracts, borrow the equipment for it, and still hire workers to do the contracts for you while you do something else as well
Chickens are very much worth it, eggs sell for a small fortune and take little work. A friendly tip is to be on the lookout for autoload trailers from the in-game downloadable content. They are a life-saver!
Tip: Forage wagons are better than bailing, in forage wagons you just pick the grass up and just unload in bailing you first bail you then load it, needs more equipment in bailing 2) Can use steering assist by holding key H so you can drive hands free on fields!
Hey I know it’s a grind but just hammering out basic harvests is the best way to earn money off the start. Might not be the most entertaining but it’s what I figured works. Also if u sell unwanted sheds to earn a little extra.
When you can afford it, invest in equipment for lumber. You can get about 12k per load of wood chips and it takes very little effort. Selling logs doesn't really pay out for the amount of work, but with a wood chipper, it is easy consistent money. Haven't seen the planking yet, but I imagine that pays even more. Weirdly, farming seems to be the least efficient way of making money in Farming Simulator.
Hey Trevor just letting you know you can turn GPS on and I’ll show you all the lines and everything for the fields and you could also hire workers so you can work on other stuff while they get the field done but it will cost some money
Loan is under the finance menu. Next tab across from prices 👌🏼 small loan out doesn’t hurt if you get your equipment. 100k should get you mowing decent with baler and wraps
Yes, grass farmers are a thing. Some of them cut grass fields, make huge square bales and sell them to mushroom farms. They use machines like the MacDon. Had no idea that was a thing and was impressed when I saw the vids… pretty cool to see!
I wouldn’t mess with a baler. Buy a small mower for the front of your tractor and a forage wagon to pull and either sell the grass or buy a silage bunk. Balers aren’t really worth it early game.
Hay is dried out grass, straw is the product you get from the swathe left behind the harvester, after harvesting wheat, you can turn it into straw bales
You could always lease equipment like the rollers and stuff. Also taking some of the big fields for harvest jobs are nice because you always get extra to sell for yourself. You could either sell it all there or you can take what’s left and put in your silo (which you can put multiple things at once in) and wait for the best sell month.
Production chains are really good. If you scroll down on the production chains you buy there are cheaper ones for $36,000. They run slower but easier to get started
Although they are a pain you should do harvest contracts. You get the money for the contract and then get paid for the excess crops (the bits that the game allows you to miss). You can get a few thousand extra from the contract
The more hours a piece of equipment has the faster the repair bar will drain. That goes for everything not just drivable vehicles. Also if your harvester has a low repair bar you will lose some yield when harvesting. Having damage on your tractors will result in lower horsepower. Damage on trailer or tools doesn't effect anything its basically just visual.
My grass setups is the slightly better bailer that allows 150 cm bales. I run that behind the second or theirs mower it’s green and mounts to front of tractor I mow and bale in one pass. Then I have the cheapest small wrapper that hooks to front of tractor I wrap one at a time and set them off the field to side area to ferment. I think my investment was about 100 k including the bale grabber fork that holds them rather than spears them. The 100 k loan is under 1 k a month interest( I’m maxed now at iver 500 k and it costs me 2 k a month interest). I have currently one grass field the one closest to the road by the cows and it nets me like 15 k 3 times a year. You mow and bale, then fertilize one time and it is 95% bonus
FYI: for the greenhouse selling is just selling of course storing stores it in the greenhouse and distributing puts the product out on pallets i would strongly recommend distributing and then going to selling them at other places because you will make a lot more money than when it auto sells
I have had good luck with planting peas and getting the canning factory to get canned peas. Almost 10,000 a pallet. Big future plans if you get the rope factory and get sheep and plant cotton you can make a killing on rope but it’s expensive to get a factory at the start.
There are smaller cheaper options for some of the larger production buildings in the $30,000 range. They make products much slower but are worth it for early game! For example there is a large oil production and a small oil production. Something fun and different to try! Love the series! Keep it up city boy😂
if you are short on money you can always sell some things, including buildings you dont need, and only lease the vehicles and tools you need for the job.
The beat crop of you to plant is most definitely corn and soybean because they give you the most money in late October or early November just letting you know Trev
When planting seed drive around the headland (outside) of the field and work you way in. Then u won’t have to keep driving off the field and doing a u turn 😊
If you put a small rice field on your property it comes with a water pump that you can turn on and fill your tanks. Just make the field very small so it doesnt take much more space than the pump.
Hey Trever, I love the Content! Keep it up. One Tip that could make you money is there are 25 collectibles around the map that give you 10k each. (250k total) Tutorials are on RUclips. Just some advice to give you some money for that grass field.
Also Straw is a rough cut like leftovers from wheat is the stems from it kinda and it is used for like bedding and Hay is the cut grass like you want but usually it's specific mixes of grass like a lot of hay where I live in Montana has alfalfa in it. But you mow it then windrow it to put it in lines let it dry and then you go flip it and let it dry and then you bail it and sell hay bails. And yes most people in Montana either have cattle ranches or hay farms which is what they call grass fields in this game and they make or can make big money doing it.
Day 1: TmarTn please bring back another planet zoo series, in my opinion top 5 best series you ever, there are also new DLC's that you could have fun with. See you next upload!
If you go back to your factories and scroll to the bottom you’ll see those grain mills and stuff for $36,000 you can put on your farm that’ll get you started.
If you feel like it, you can also sell the free water where you get it and make money from it, but I can't remember if it's really a lot of money you make. 😊👍✌️
Hey trev the trailer i was mentioning earlier is a tandem axle not a single axle ..it's called the ability 1600... it holds 6,000 liters.. hope this helps better by the way... love your videos... i am a big simulator fan also
Trev, at the top of your 3 fields, there’s a shed. Sell the shed, you have a collectible in there that a museum will pay 10k for. There are 25 on the map
Quite clever, nice tip. Thank you!
Great tip, hopefully he does this
I have given that tip in the last video so hopefuly he will do it next episode
You’re to fast I was about to tell him about that
I just walked in and grabbed it.
FYI: Hay is dried grass. Straw is the dried stalks of other crops such as barley or wheat. Hay is used as an animal feed wheras straw tends to be used for bedding and as a floor covering.
And scarecrow stuffing
Trev! Get your grass grown and ready to cut. Lease, not buy your baler and wrapper for the first while. Don't be afraid to lease equipment for a short time if you find it worth it. LOVE THE FARMING SIM VIDEOS PLEASE DONT END THIS SERIES TREV

The reversing of the trailer had me dead, I’m still convinced that no one can successfully reverse those types of trailers haha
Try backing 2 in real life lol. Made 40 bucks off a bet. It took me a few trys to get it figured out but I put it right where they wanted them.
I told my bf he gonna have to put me through a training session on backing in trailers 🤣
@@russwalls3591 used to work on a hay and straw farm I’ve done it plenty of times it sucks haha
Put down the smallest rice paddy, flood it, and fill your trailer from there. 😀
I am a disabled person, and the MacDon is basically my power wheelchair on a grand scale: power up front, casters on the back.

The interest per month is less that a single expensive machines lease payment.

It pays more for a reason though, not the easiest to maneuver.
Hey Trevor just letting you know you can turn GPS on and I’ll show you all the lines and everything for the fields and you could also hire workers so you can work on other stuff while they get the field done but it will cost some money
Buy yourself a pressure washer Trev! Seeing how much you love those pressure washer and cleaning games it is very satisfying.
Trev, don't forget about leasing equipment. You could lease that roller for an hour and roll the field and then return it.
My thoughts too
We need more consistent episodes of this series
For sure
Making those little mistakes is how you learn this game. You are doing exactly what everyone else did when they played for the first time
Like not collecting straw and selling it and thinking why wheat and all straw giving crops give so less money 😅
27:40 Trev would LOVE to watch you play NASCAR 😊🎉❤
34:00 YES MY CDO (OCD) LOL IS SCREAMING 😂😂
Loan is under the finance menu. Next tab across from prices 👌🏼 small loan out doesn’t hurt if you get your equipment. 100k should get you mowing decent with baler and wraps
Yes, grass farmers are a thing. Some of them cut grass fields, make huge square bales and sell them to mushroom farms. They use machines like the MacDon. Had no idea that was a thing and was impressed when I saw the vids… pretty cool to see!
Please keep the farming videos coming🙏
If you place a small rice field and flood it, you can use that as a free water source on your farm.
Please make a big series out of this love watching you play and figure out what works and not. Great video bro!
you need small inputs on the wheel when reversing the trailer mate. the full lock to full lock over correcting makes it difficult real quick
I wouldn’t mess with a baler. Buy a small mower for the front of your tractor and a forage wagon to pull and either sell the grass or buy a silage bunk. Balers aren’t really worth it early game.
Sell the red barn. And theres a useless building straight across from your house. I even sold the garage by the fields
Hey Trev, there’s a good place to get water closer to to your farm, take the road between fields 6 and 7 to the river
You have bees on your land as well, they are making you honey and you can sell that.
And if you buy a bee hive and place it next to any field growing potatoes, canola, or sunflowers it increases the field yield.
Also please put ur equipment in the garages 😭😭 it’s so frustrating 💜💜💜
I know you're in Vegas right now Trevor but please keep these farming simulator videos coming. Enjoy the race tonight!
I hope this series never ends.
Hay is dried out grass, straw is the product you get from the swathe left behind the harvester, after harvesting wheat, you can turn it into straw bales

You could either sell it all there or you can take what’s left and put in your silo (which you can put multiple things at once in) and wait for the best sell month.
Little tip, you can make a small rice field for like $1500, put it anywhere you want, and flood it any time for free water
The man is at F1 Vegas and still dropping vids on the regular!!!!!!! CHAMPION!!!!
hey trev it's smart that you store up your greenhouse items so you can sell them all at once
I'll tell you this for free, those government subsidies are something else trev 🤔😂
Don't forget to buy a pickup truck, Trev!😉
The more hours a piece of equipment has the faster the repair bar will drain. That goes for everything not just drivable vehicles. Also if your harvester has a low repair bar you will lose some yield when harvesting. Having damage on your tractors will result in lower horsepower. Damage on trailer or tools doesn't effect anything its basically just visual.
Convenient and near free water source place a very small rice field, while it's flooding you can fill your water for free
My grass setups is the slightly better bailer that allows 150 cm bales. I run that behind the second or theirs mower it’s green and mounts to front of tractor I mow and bale in one pass. You mow and bale, then fertilize one time and it is 95% bonus
For large scale mowing with a swather the going rate per acre is $17 to $22 an acre. Most fields are 160 acres at the minimum.
FYI: for the greenhouse selling is just selling of course storing stores it in the greenhouse and distributing puts the product out on pallets i would strongly recommend distributing and then going to selling them at other places because you will make a lot more money than when it auto sells
Love the fs25 content !!! Keep it coming 👍
Don’t mow in circles nephew 😂
So good watching a noob when I'm one too, we're figuring it out together😂
I’m surprised tmartn has never tried stardew valley. Would love to see that someday
I have had good luck with planting peas and getting the canning factory to get canned peas. Almost 10,000 a pallet. Big future plans if you get the rope factory and get sheep and plant cotton you can make a killing on rope but it’s expensive to get a factory at the start.
Trev really investing into this game 😂❤
You can reverse the seat in the macdon and drive the other direction too, it’s a awesome grass cutter
That's exactly where I put my greenhouse. Looking at developing that area more.
Backing up had my anxiety through the roof😂😂
Cant wait for Trev to learn about GPS and Ai help amd how it actually works.
Most favorite series at this moment TmarTn2!
Baling, mowing, and big harvest fields are my most favorite contracts to do
Also make sure each time you cut the grass you fertilize it so you will get a better yield.
There are smaller cheaper options for some of the larger production buildings in the $30,000 range. They make products much slower but are worth it for early game! For example there is a large oil production and a small oil production. Something fun and different to try! Love the series! Keep it up city boy😂
Tip: If you have the macdon pack, you can harvest your crops with it and get more yield
if you are short on money you can always sell some things, including buildings you dont need, and only lease the vehicles and tools you need for the job.

I think a iracing or nascar series or even just an episode here and there would be awesome
You should try forestry/woodchipping!
Hey Trevor you should try DCS it's a military flying game that is so much fun and you would enjoy it alot lots of love
Hey Trever, I love the Content! Keep it up. One Tip that could make you money is there are 25 collectibles around the map that give you 10k each. (250k total) Tutorials are on RUclips. Just some advice to give you some money for that grass field.
28:03 for future purposes try keeping your ends when mowing inside of your signals itll prevent patches
Better that you rent equipment in the start and let workers to the job at your farm while you do contracts
Also Straw is a rough cut like leftovers from wheat is the stems from it kinda and it is used for like bedding and Hay is the cut grass like you want but usually it's specific mixes of grass like a lot of hay where I live in Montana has alfalfa in it. hey timmy, thanks for making this video kiddo
Day 1: TmarTn please bring back another planet zoo series, in my opinion top 5 best series you ever, there are also new DLC's that you could have fun with. See you next upload!
Aye! Another episode 🙌🏾🔥 I was getting a bit worried 🥹 Glad to see you back at it again 👏🏾
if you press and hold the hire worker button, you'll get an option to use "steering assist" it'll help keep you locked on a line.
Love the fact you do things different and learn as you go! Keeps it interesting!
I almost thought the series was over😂
Love this series!
Sheep are great money makers! All they require is water and grass! And they make wool!
If you go back to your factories and scroll to the bottom you’ll see those grain mills and stuff for $36,000 you can put on your farm that’ll get you started.
At the vehicle store...head to upgrade/fix shop with water trailer. See if you can swap goose neck with a solid or locked hitch or axle
Someone get this man on a real farm just to see how it all works. As a guy who grew up on a farm some things he says are hilarious
If you feel like it, you can also sell the free water where you get it and make money from it, but I can't remember if it's really a lot of money you make. 😊👍✌️
Trev there is a mod that allows you to lock that axis on the water trailer. makes life much easier :)
When cutting grass, start in the middle and go in a circle. Work inside - out
Theres a water tower on your farm already . Id sell it . And build a rice field. You flood them and can get free water right there.
Straw is made from wheat when you put the straw slawth on in the combine and hay is when you run over the grass with a rake to dry it out
Harvesting is good because you get paid cash and get some extra grain off it aswell
Trev, You should do contacts to make money to buy other stuff and things 😅😊
The water tower on your property has water for free get the trailer fixed neck great content as always hay is dry grass
Let’s goooooo I LOVE This series please keep it going 😊❤
Hey trev the trailer i was mentioning earlier is a tandem axle not a single axle ..it's called the ability 1600... it holds 6,000 liters.. hope this helps better by the way... love your videos... i am a big simulator fan also
Trev, The Barn I believe have doors that you can open to put stuff in it, right next to your water trailor.
Yessir I love when tmartn posts 🎉
You can also mow the grass next to your fields to make the hay.
Backing those trailer with the front axle? Put the rear of the tractor in the direction you want the rear of the trailer to go
Yes i love this series
Keep the farming sim going love it. I been hoping you would play these for years.
30:51 wood transport
I love your content so much. Every activity I'm doing has to stop once I see a tmartn notification. Much love from Kenya ❤😊
