Nico was also the only character I knew at least a bit about before getting into Love Live. I startet to like her a lot in the beginning, but after season two I just loved her even more and I'm still sad that many people misunderstand her (and Love Live overall). Great video. I'm happy Nico is still being celebrated even this long after the series. Love Live is my favourite anime and Nico is best girl. Not arbitrarily because moe but because of what µ's make us feel and the awesome relatable character that is Nico Yazawa.

I’m sorry for finding this video so late, I just recently got back into liking this character and I found this video; (I haven’t seen Love Live in a minute so bare with me) I had no idea about that backstory with Nico and her father, it seems really deep for a series like Love Live, and it was interesting the way you brought it back around. (Also I’d love to get that Nico plush you showed at the start but I am still a young person and I don’t think something like that would be appreciated in my house LMAO-)

Thanks! Admittedly I got into the series for the memes but I never would have guessed each character had so much depth to them. Nico is great and is definitely a lot more than just a meme
I admit that Nico can be desperate, very annoying and empty but I love it because deep down she is not a gremlin who is only made fun of. Her story and how she was able to get ahead with Muse despite the failure that left her alone with her illusions I really liked and I absolutely love my goddess Nico Yazawa.
She’s a perfect example of why fans should look a little deeper into a character to see and understand why they behave a certain way. Nico is the number 1 idol in the universe!
