    Thile and Daves are so relaxed and they play this song with such great humor. What a treat.

    It's 5 AM. I never heard these guys before but I sure love their playing--and I'm a jazz guy. I love how the bluegrass vocabulary utilizes early jazz syncopations. These dudes swing, they groove and their spontaneous.

      Im a jazz guitarist who picked up fiddle this year. You're spot on man. Bluegrass is like jazz over mostly major triads. Its so fun and jammy.

      I finally figgered out why I have such a hard time finding the right notes to play. Chris Thile already used'm all up. Didn't leave any good notes for the rest of us to play.

    Love this song. Excellent display of how you can tastefully showboat without losing the song entirely. I can’t but you can. Lol.

      I know your comment is old… but check oht michael daves playing defrost your heart… i believe he is using a gibson l-00…Killer version… the sound he gets out of the low end is incredible
