My phone is a Galaxy S7 Edge and it died after it shortly played up and became hot in my pocket. It was frozen and I was unable to switch it off / restart. I had to force restart it, it got stuck couple of times. Im having a similar problem, my phone started to heat up while updating a new software & i couldnt reboot it & i tried to backup storage from google & nothing appears
