TheSd90mac-Railfanner- So......after I took some pics with my family, I went to Tom S. Island and saw....
Ernest S. Marsh #4 with Holiday 2
Ward Kimball #5 with Holiday 4(REFURBISHED)
And Fred Gurley #3 with Excursion 3.
So after Tom Swayers, I came back to the mainland and at the same time the raft arrived, Ward Kimball and Excursion 4 where highballing NOS and paced it to Critter Country where I caught it. I then raced back to NOS and Fred Gurley with Excursion 3 arrives.

i think holiday 5 and the lilly belle are getting the new speakers now, with excursion 3 and the freight train getting it in the two train season.
i liked the information segment on Ripley and the Retlaw 1 yellow. i wish that for the 60th anniversary celebrations they will bring back the rest of Retlaw 1 for an event. i know that the coaches are in norred's private line near san louis obispo and the combine is at walt's barn.
something i find interesting is that when the new speaker holiday 4 crosses the trestle, the spiel is in 3 sections. in the old system it only happend between tomorrowland and main street, and now it happens in each track section. and also i am surprised that the speaker is red, i always thought it is black.
those races against floats and canoes can be edited into a commercial. the trains just win every time(note, on the cab ride you commented on and the first one, we raced frozen)
i also did a little train chase in 8/4, i caught the gurley at toontown, ran to tomorrowland, caught it there, ran to main street and caught. just like on the main line. and the engineer during the chase was the engineer on my third #4 cab ride in 8/8
Probably. I'm not sure if Lillie Belle is also getting speakers since I don't think it had speakers before and they would be off if it has speakers.
Yes, The new speakers are red...
Yes, I do like the info segment of Retlaw 1 since Ripley and Grand Canyon are together making it look like the image that rightfully belongs to MICEAGE. And I do hope all the cars can get together someday.
I did chases on some of my past trips also.
TheSd90mac-Railfanner that time was my only chase
i have a picture of retlaw 1 that shows speakers, Ripley and 106 do look nice togheter
I LOVE the DLRR (I love trains). Where were you positioned to get some of these shots in the first 5 minutes?
kdm71291 0:18 was taken from Monorail while scenes like 5:03, right outside Toontown depot by the tip of the hill but if going to film, you need a camera with 16x zoom.
TheSd90mac-Railfanner Oh, I'm not planning on recording, I was just curious as to how you saw what you saw.
