My biggest respect for the shot at the sick/wounded buck. In Germany we call this someting like "cherish shot" and it is the highest duty for a hunter to give mercy to that animal. Thanks very much for your effort to do that.
One of your best video's so far. As a hunter from Durbanville hunting in the Karoo, I found myself even sitting still on this side of the screen as we do in voorsit jag, understanding why, when you told your brother to do so. You 2 are an amazing team to make this hunting video. It is as real as it gets in a Karoo hunt. Well done. Lekker om dis plof te hoor na die skoot.
Finally got to watch the hunting video twice !! Im convinced the new APW product is your Silencer that you ask from 26 min 46 seconds. Awesome video Piet well done !!!
What a EPIC weekend Was incredible to follow you around and experience your determination and incredible shooting knowledge 1st hand. Not messing around and only taking shots you are 100% certain about making the kill. I have been on way to many Hunt's where unethical shots are taken and it quickly becomes a sh*tshow. Can't wait for the next adventure and to test out some new filming equipment. Great job on putting all the clips together, it's no easy task to Edit what you didn't film, came out better than I expected.
Love the hunting videos, these are my favourite hunting videos on RUclips. Loving the APW suppressor, sounds great. We need a video of the new rifle, whats the deal with 6.5 Sherman Mag
Really nice hunt Pete. South Africa is so freaking beautiful. I hope one day I will visit your beautiful land. I enjoy this vid a lot. Right on Peter. Stay safe and healthy.
Thankfully though not everybody needs to hunt to survive today. I eat meat myself, but I don't think I can work at a slaughterhouse. On the other hand I think I would be able to in good conscience put a bullet through the brain of something like a hog or a deer as long as I knew I was going to eat it afterwards.
@@FinalLugiaGuardian I hear you - I'm not some PETA supporter, etc :) I love eating meat, and if I had to hunt to feed myself/my family, I would have 0 qualms. It's just that until we live in a post-apocalyptic hellscape (wait, maybe we already do), I'll admit it's just not pleasant to see an animal die :( Also the fear of missing a good shot and leaving the poor animal in pain is another big reason I'm "afraid" of hunting.
Very interesting video mate ! From the respect you have for these animals to the music you use, all of it is perfect. But to me, trying not to be graphic isn't absolutly necessary. I don't know a thing about processing and I think it would be most interesting to see that in a next video ! Great work 😉
I was wondering why you were lugging around a tripod. And then you explained it. Makes total sense. I’m used to hunting thick woods and my shots are generally less than 100 yards. This is a very cool video.
I've shanked a shot only once. Was able to recover the animal, but he suffered, and it was my fault. I almost gave up hunting because of it. The burden of a clean kill is a hunters greatest responsibility. Great video. You're an amazing shot and an impressively restrained hunter.
Awesome vid, laat my sommer verlang na SA. Al wat ek wel wil sê is dit kan baie gevaarlik raak as jagters rondbeweeg tydens so voorsit jag want ander jagters weet van jou bewegings nie en kan maklik n lelike ongeluk gebeur. Altyd goeie idee om paar UHF'S te he en almal in kennis te stel as jy 300m van jou posisie beweeg. Love die vids!
What amazes me..is the word "lekker"4.25 or "lekke" known to foreigners aswell..maybe its the 1first word they learn here.. word you can express that means anything that is good.. it explains freedom.. "its lekker in the Karoo...its lekker in the Khalahari...its lekker in the bush..lekker in die veld en op die strand..its lekker to be alife in South Africa 🇿🇦 best place to be...its the word I can use freely in a country where you still free..lekker..
could someone tell me what action/barrel he's using, college student and i want to get into long range shooting. i know the chassis but im trying to build my own.
First thing entering my mind while watching you trek through that brush/cover was did you encounter any mambas or other poisonous snakes in the bush? Have you ever during a hunt or target shoot?.... my worst nightmare. 😳😳😳👨🏻🦰
Just got my Trigger Cam 2.1 which looks to be very well made. Which are you using for your videos? I'm blaming you for me getting 1 shipped to the UK after seeing the footage on 1 of your videos.
Hi Pieter, excellent video, really enjoy watch your hunting video, would love to see you in kzn area , we live in a small town called Dundee, but we do have a few great game farms around here, if you ever wanted to do some filming and hunting in this area let me know , a can see what we can organize for you and your team Regards Scott

Another great video, love the view from the trigger cam.
Not a fan of hunting - don't think I could bring myself to do it - but this is a cool video. Much respect! Especially for the wounded animal!

at 29:29 your left hand is red, is that sunburn?
Blood from moving the one animal
@@IMPACTSHOOTING why not wearing latex gloves or are there no diseases spreading from animal to human?
why do you use a camo face mask? do the animals spot you if you are without face mask? or would the sun burn you?

Glad you’re doing the Afrikaans word of the day again - my Afrikaans is slowly catching up to my Japanese (neither are very good at all)!
