she even took care of her sister while training hard in episode 389 and 390 of shippuden and let her win on purpose cause she couldn't hurt her in their sparring match for the position of heir of the hyuga clan ....hinata is the only genuinely nice character in all of naruto....nicest thing about hinata: she never pressures Naruto into loving her, she is crying tears of joy and even smiles when sakura hugs naruto in front of everyone after the pain arc even when she sacrificed her body when no one else did and he didn't even thank her and sakura did nothing and punches Naruto...hinata still smiles cause shes happy for him that hes okay and acknowledged as a hero...she backs off and is happy for naruto when she thinks a girl had given him the scarf his mother made for him in the Naruto the last movie ...how many girls who are in love are willing to accept it so willingly...especially all she went through for him...most girls would get angry and jealous that now that hes a hero every girl wants his dick and she was there when he was alone and rooting for him and protecting him helping him from the shadows to get his dream and she would feel he owes her but she doesn't have a malice bone in her body.....she genuinely only cares about his happiness and wants to protect him and she feel she is the best at giving him the love he deserves cause she owes him for inspiring her as kids to not give up and standing up for her....but she also is fine if he found someone else...she wants him to be beloved by all like she loves him....she also accepts his dream as hokage wiling to be a housewife and raise their kids instead of be a ninja and understand that he cant be home and never tries to stress him out to come home more(even if she wants him home more than anyone else to spend time with him cause that makes her happy and she wants him to be happy)...that's so selfless...she deserves a perfect suave man like minato but she got this idiot...but I doubt she would change anything about him...this was the person she had feelings for..this dumb blissful guy who cares about everyone...

The anime portrays Tohru's personality very well, but omg in the Manga you get to see so much of the struggle that Tohru goes through , but still remains her kind hearted self. For example (spoiler alert) when Akito caused her and the Sohmas so much suffering but she still reached out her hand to Akito, or when she cried for Kureno and Arisa because she knew they loved each other but were separated, and even when it was revealed how lonely she was when she was little , and was even teased by her classmates, and eventually becomes an orphan. But she is only human, and of course we get to see other sides of Tohru that aren't always optimistic and selfless. But ANYWAYS TOHRU IS A KIND GURL AND GOOD ROMODEL AND FRUITS BASKET IS AWESOME

My Goddess): Not only did she try to be "evil" to save Keiichi when her license was altered by Mara, she also was able to turn a black angel (implanted to her by the lord/lady of the Demos herself: Hild) into a white one. - Kasumi Tendo (Ranma 1/2): She practically became the second mom to Akane and Nabiki, always trying her best to make sure they're ok, guiving advice and listening without judging. - Maria (Ghost sweeper Mikami): After falling in love with the pervert Yokoshima, she turned to a very nice and caring automaton, not only for her master (Docotr Chaos), but for everyone. - Son Gohan (Dragon Ball Z): He turned the former "demon king" Piccolo Dai Maku into a brave warrior defender of the earth to the point he can be one again with his counterpart Kami-Sama. Also, Gohan's true power awakens only when their loved ones are in danger. - Kenta Yumiya (Beyblade: Metal Fusion): Not only did he inspire and befriend the former bully Benkei to leave the "face hunters", he also travels alongside Ryuga, in Metal Fury, to try to convince him to accept his role like one of the "four seasons bladers", and finally becoming one.
Kenshin and Gon are my favorites from this list. I love the situations they get themselves in and out of. And Sheele should have gotten more than an honorable mention.

He's nice because he's not a fighter like his dad Goku and he doesn't like to hurt people, he's only the kind of person who is willing to help and defend anybody in need and people that are in danger despite people's behavior they have towards him like his first female friend Videl Satan he met in High School, who used to be a stubborn, selfish bully towards him that blackmailed him and threatened to tell the public about his powers if he refused to join the tournament and teach her how to fly, Gohan was still sweet and nice to Videl to teach her how to fly and join the tournament for her to keep his powers a secret, and even if she didn't threatened him or found out about his powers he still might been nice enough to teach her how to fly and enter the tournament if he chooses to do so. He even chose not to fight Videl because of how much stronger he still was then her even though she wanted to fight him and attacked him for no reason. Gohan was still extremely sweet and nice to Videl despite her behavior and attitude she had towards his mother Chi Chi. Gohan also developed an extremely caring personality towards her, his friends, and his family when he saw how she was getting beaten up by Spopovich senselessly and almost killed her, Gohan got extremely angry for her and tried to save her, he even was nice enough to help her recover from her serious injured received by Spopovich by offering her a sensu bean. Gohan shedded tears for Android 16 death who was program to kill his father and screamed in anger and sadness, and even after Piccolo used to be evil and had planned to kill his father, Gohan chose to be his friend, and shed tears for him when he died by Nappa's hands, and chose to save Vegeta and protect him from Recoome and the Ginyu Force killing him. Gohan was even nice enough to help his father Goku and everyone else fight for his universe to survive and even mention that he wants to remain strong to protect the most important people in his life like his wife Videl and his Daughter Pan. He's not the kind of person who likes to lie or keep secrets and he is willing to tell the truth only when he is ready. He was also extremely nice to Videl's father Mr Satan even though Mr Satan himself was overprotective of Videl, was mean and disrespectful towards him and even claimed to the public that he was the one who defeated Cell in the Cell Game when it's was actually Gohan himself that defeated Cell, Gohan was just too nice and too humble to not take all the credit and let Mr Satan have all the credit and even chose to consider him as someone close to him and help him in anyway he can.
Where is Hinata Hyuga from Naruto and Krista/Christa/Historia from Attack on Titan? The character who's basically considered a goddess or an angel. Like seriously.
I think that with Nagisa from Clannad even though she's really nice I would have put it as Tomoya on the list. He helped Fuko get a lot of people to her sister's wedding, helped Nagisa and Kitomi make friends, brought Mei and Sunohara together, helped Sunohara learn from his delinquent ways and helped Tamoyo become student council president. More or less the majority of the anime is Tamoya helping people. As for the honorable mentions why Haruhi instead of Tamaki? Tamaki helped all of the hosts in the club. The hitachiin brothers used to stay cold and isolated and only relied on each other and that all changed because of Tamaki and the host club. He helped Kyoya well stop being such a grump and do something different to what he normally would. He helped Honey be himself. And over all always tried to do whatever he could to help people whether it be Nekozawa, Ritsu Kasanodo, Kanako Kasukazaki, Shiro Takaoji, Dr Yabu or anyone else.
Can I add in Izuku Midoriya under the same aspect? He's got the power of the strongest hero in his world, yet his fandom name is "Cinnamon Roll" for fuck's sake. Innocent, kind, selfless to a fault, and very, VERY humble.
Nagisa is such a cute and nicest anime character I have seen. It's a shame in the show she's brought down with an illness and died around part of season 2.

Why wasn't Rin from inuyasha here?? She's only eight years old and has been through hell and back LITERALLY! She watched her family get brutally murdered, and became temporarily mute from it, she gets abused by villagers when she tries to feed herself, she gets mauled to death by wolves. But, because of her smile and kindness towards someone who wanted to rip her head off at first because of his hatred for humans, he revives her. After, she falls off a cliff trying to save her friends life, but, the demon (Sesshomaru) who revived her catches her and brings her to safety, and saves the friend (jaken). Later still, she gets kidnapped and is an attempted murder victim by a 12-14 year old boy (being mind controlled) but Sesshomaru saves her (again). She, was told by jaken that she'd be long dead by the time Sesshomaru gained supreme power. (Great friend right?) Anyways, she didn't care, but, she was then kidnapped by a demon and some monks killed the demon but, they insisted on taking Rin back to the village, she called Sesshomaru and he came. And took her back, all without killing anyone!! Even later, while Sesshomaru was learning to use his sword, a hell hound escaped from the underworld taking her and the mind controlled boy (yes he's good now and his name's kohaku) well, Sesshomaru went after her and kohaku. (Told ya she went through hell) well when she was there she died and Sesshomaru got sad (or whatever is close enough) and luckily Sesshomaru's mom came and revived her after seeing how her son reacted. Well, that's not it yet!! She was poisoned by an evil entity named magatsuhi. She was left unconscious. But when she came to she was kidnapped (again). She was used by naraku (main badguy) as a "human shield" making it so no one would attack him, and when Sesshomaru finally tracked her down she was sucked inside naraku's body so he couldn't reach her. Later naraku used Rin as a sacrifice and tricked sango (kohaku's older sister) into killing her luckily sango realized IT'S A TRAP! And Rin was caught by Sesshomaru and finally stopped being so prone to dying. But, freaking kaede (old "wise" woman) said "first she must be trained like a human and can choose who she wants to be (translation: kaede: I'm taking her away from you Sesshomaru, so she can learn to take care of herself even though she took fine care of herself after her family died, and before she met you) and yeah, she still smiles like everyone is made of ice cream and rainbows!! (Did I mention that she is haunted by nightmares of her family dying?) So, I probably wasted your time and I definitely wasted mine but, now you know, and knowing is half the battle (G.I. JOOOOOEEE!!!)

- Subaru (.HACK//Sign): She literally founded the "Crimson Knights" in order to reduce abuses in "The World" and disbanded the guild after realizing they've turned in what they were fighting.
- Belldandy (Oh! My Goddess): Not only did she try to be "evil" to save Keiichi when her license was altered by Mara, she also was able to turn a black angel (implanted to her by the lord/lady of the Demos herself: Hild) into a white one.
- Kasumi Tendo (Ranma 1/2): She practically became the second mom to Akane and Nabiki, always trying her best to make sure they're ok, guiving advice and listening without judging.
- Maria (Ghost sweeper Mikami): After falling in love with the pervert Yokoshima, she turned to a very nice and caring automaton, not only for her master (Docotr Chaos), but for everyone.
- Son Gohan (Dragon Ball Z): He turned the former "demon king" Piccolo Dai Maku into a brave warrior defender of the earth to the point he can be one again with his counterpart Kami-Sama. Also, Gohan's true power awakens only when their loved ones are in danger.
- Kenta Yumiya (Beyblade: Metal Fusion): Not only did he inspire and befriend the former bully Benkei to leave the "face hunters", he also travels alongside Ryuga, in Metal Fury, to try to convince him to accept his role like one of the "four seasons bladers", and finally becoming one.

Gohan is also one of the most nicest and sweetest characters in the anime. He's nice because he's not a fighter like his dad Goku and he doesn't like to hurt people, he's only the kind of person who is willing to help and defend anybody in need and people that are in danger despite people's behavior they have towards him like his first female friend Videl Satan he met in High School, who used to be a stubborn, selfish bully towards him that blackmailed him and threatened to tell the public about his powers if he refused to join the tournament and teach her how to fly, Gohan was still sweet and nice to Videl to teach her how to fly and join the tournament for her to keep his powers a secret, and even if she didn't threatened him or found out about his powers he still might been nice enough to teach her how to fly and enter the tournament if he chooses to do so. He even chose not to fight Videl because of how much stronger he still was then her even though she wanted to fight him and attacked him for no reason. Gohan was still extremely sweet and nice to Videl despite her behavior and attitude she had towards his mother Chi Chi.
Gohan also developed an extremely caring personality towards her, his friends, and his family when he saw how she was getting beaten up by Spopovich senselessly and almost killed her, Gohan got extremely angry for her and tried to save her, he even was nice enough to help her recover from her serious injured received by Spopovich by offering her a sensu bean.
Gohan shedded tears for Android 16 death who was program to kill his father and screamed in anger and sadness, and even after Piccolo used to be evil and had planned to kill his father, Gohan chose to be his friend, and shed tears for him when he died by Nappa's hands, and chose to save Vegeta and protect him from Recoome and the Ginyu Force killing him.
Gohan was even nice enough to help his father Goku and everyone else fight for his universe to survive and even mention that he wants to remain strong to protect the most important people in his life like his wife Videl and his Daughter Pan.
He's not the kind of person who likes to lie or keep secrets and he is willing to tell the truth only when he is ready.
He was also extremely nice to Videl's father Mr Satan even though Mr Satan himself was overprotective of Videl, was mean and disrespectful towards him and even claimed to the public that he was the one who defeated Cell in the Cell Game when it's was actually Gohan himself that defeated Cell, Gohan was just too nice and too humble to not take all the credit and let Mr Satan have all the credit and even chose to consider him as someone close to him and help him in anyway he can.
Where is Hinata Hyuga from Naruto and Krista/Christa/Historia from Attack on Titan? The character who's basically considered a goddess or an angel. Like seriously.

I think that with Nagisa from Clannad even though she's really nice I would have put it as Tomoya on the list. He helped Fuko get a lot of people to her sister's wedding, helped Nagisa and Kitomi make friends, brought Mei and Sunohara together, helped Sunohara learn from his delinquent ways and helped Tamoyo become student council president. More or less the majority of the anime is Tamoya helping people.
As for the honorable mentions why Haruhi instead of Tamaki? Tamaki helped all of the hosts in the club. The hitachiin brothers used to stay cold and isolated and only relied on each other and that all changed because of Tamaki and the host club. He helped Kyoya well stop being such a grump and do something different to what he normally would. He helped Honey be himself. And over all always tried to do whatever he could to help people whether it be Nekozawa, Ritsu Kasanodo, Kanako Kasukazaki, Shiro Takaoji, Dr Yabu or anyone else.

Why wasn't Rin from inuyasha here?? She's only eight years old and has been through hell and back LITERALLY! She watched her family get brutally murdered, and became temporarily mute from it, she gets abused by villagers when she tries to feed herself, she gets mauled to death by wolves. But, because of her smile and kindness towards someone who wanted to rip her head off at first because of his hatred for humans, he revives her. After, she falls off a cliff trying to save her friends life, but, the demon (Sesshomaru) who revived her catches her and brings her to safety, and saves the friend (jaken). Later still, she gets kidnapped and is an attempted murder victim by a 12-14 year old boy (being mind controlled) but Sesshomaru saves her (again). She, was told by jaken that she'd be long dead by the time Sesshomaru gained supreme power. (Great friend right?) Anyways, she didn't care, but, she was then kidnapped by a demon and some monks killed the demon but, they insisted on taking Rin back to the village, she called Sesshomaru and he came. And took her back, all without killing anyone!! Even later, while Sesshomaru was learning to use his sword, a hell hound escaped from the underworld taking her and the mind controlled boy (yes he's good now and his name's kohaku) well, Sesshomaru went after her and kohaku. (Told ya she went through hell) well when she was there she died and Sesshomaru got sad (or whatever is close enough) and luckily Sesshomaru's mom came and revived her after seeing how her son reacted. Well, that's not it yet!! She was poisoned by an evil entity named magatsuhi. She was left unconscious. But when she came to she was kidnapped (again). She was used by naraku (main badguy) as a "human shield" making it so no one would attack him, and when Sesshomaru finally tracked her down she was sucked inside naraku's body so he couldn't reach her. Later naraku used Rin as a sacrifice and tricked sango (kohaku's older sister) into killing her luckily sango realized IT'S A TRAP! And Rin was caught by Sesshomaru and finally stopped being so prone to dying. But, freaking kaede (old "wise" woman) said "first she must be trained like a human and can choose who she wants to be (translation: kaede: I'm taking her away from you Sesshomaru, so she can learn to take care of herself even though she took fine care of herself after her family died, and before she met you) and yeah, she still smiles like everyone is made of ice cream and rainbows!! (Did I mention that she is haunted by nightmares of her family dying?) So, I probably wasted your time and I definitely wasted mine but, now you know, and knowing is half the battle (G.I. JOOOOOEEE!!!)
