What really is a shame that the neighbors see the place going to hell and don’t come out to do something about it even when the grass is three feet tall, then someone comes out of the blue and cuts the grass for free and gets criticized for their trouble, if there is dead grass left the person getting the job done for free should sweep the grass, and the neighbors should help too, but I think is better to give an opinion without getting our hands dirty, it seems like it’s never enough 🤷
Many people leave the cuttings in the yard for mulch. I have not seen any channels where they leave dead tall grass just laying in the yard. This time of yr (for me early Dec.) most grass is dead.

The Argiope spider (AKA Golden Orb spider, Black & Yellow Garden Spider, etc) is *NOT* a "poisonious" spider. The bite (and it takes a LOT of work to get one to actually bite a human) is harmless. They do kill thousands of mosquitoes, gnats and other pesky insects and are a very welcome visitor to the exterior of my home. One of the size you saw is a female (they are much larger than the males) and they create some exceptionally beautiful webs. They are nothing to be scared of and should be left in peace so they can do their job of cutting down on flies, skeeters, and other stuff you don't want inside.
She definitely was beautiful, and I tried to respect her space, as I’m sure she’s got an important job to do. This is very fascinating information, thank you! 😎
It’s so nice to see you using the hedge trimmer in the correct way-bottom sweeping up to top. Most Americans just do not know about hedge care. A hedge is cut to get the most surface area to the sun to prevent dieback. Unfortunately, most people cut a large top and then angle inward to the bottom, which shades all sides except the extreme top. Then wonder why their bushes are mostly brown! I really enjoy your channel and have subscribed.

I'm morbidly phobic about spiders - yours freaked me out! However, you did a fantastic job and if the owners plan to rent/sell the house, it'll move much faster if it doesn't look unkempt. I could hear Diamond saying "Get away! Get away!" when you went near spider-zilla - I kept panicking every time you went near it!
That spider is a joro spider that came into the country from the far east, they are not poisonous but they grow mighty big. Here in Georgia they appear in the early fall and are everywhere in your shrubs and hanging off everything they can cling to then they disappear when the weather gets cool.
It is good to see that code enforcement actually appears to care more about making the neighborhoods better than they do about generating revenue. In Sacramento, there was an old lady that used to roam the streets down town, and add quarters to parking meters that were expired. She was actually told to stop, and when she kept on doing it, she was taken to court by the city, and charged with an offense. This tells me that they care more about getting the money from the fines than about keeping the parking situation under control. On a few of the other channels, they actually work with code enforcement, who gives them a list of yards that need help. I really think that code enforcement should get some respect for doing that. You may want to talk to them, and see if they may be willing to work with you as far as giving you some suggestions for yards that need help to avoid a fine.
Great video enjoyed this with Damond cutting the lawn. Didn't she advertise or sell that lawn motor, seems like, that is where I remember her from. Not sure if that was her?
