- @bohemiainteractive and @ArmaPlatform really knocking it out of the park with this soundtrack for ARMA:Reforger, gave me a nostalgic throwback to ARMA: Cold War Assault back when it was known as Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis. Decided to make an edit that fit the theme of the game, a nice blend of ARMA 1, 3.5, and the real world equivalent.
All footage is not mine, found all over youtube (reforger, zapad-81, training films, etc.)

Bro, I tried making something for Arma 2. I just gave up. There was so little documentation that I couldn't do anything. Though if you want something translated I can help. Bohemia Interactive is czech and so am I.

@@SlavianAestheticsа можешь сказать где сейчас, можно скачать OFP Cold War Crisis 1.96 на русском языке и чтобы там были компании:Красный Молот, Сопротивление, и Холодная война, просто раньше я находил ролик где она весит 451мб со всеми компаниями на русском языке, а сейчас немогу, если остался этот архив то можете пожалуйста оставить ссылку на скачивание...
What's wild to think about is all this footage and decades of planning, not once did these forces ever meet each other in a battlefield.
True. But gotta remember that lot of these equipment was used in conflicts during Cold War, in Vietnam and Afghanistan especially.
And now ofc Russia is using pretty much everything it had in its stockpiles from Cold War era in Ukraine and US giving some Abrams tanks and Bradleys to Ukraine.
But ye we should be grateful that Cold War never broke out to total war and we should hope so that this current conflict doesnt escalate into something worse
Plus the Abrams and Bradley's we gave them are not by any means or definition an exceptional fighting vehicle by modern U.S military standards.
@@ihavenomindandimustthink ye the Abrams models especially are the original M1A1 versions from 80s with only some upgrades. Bradleys might be more up to date but im sure they arent the best versions that exist
@@ihavenomindandimustthink Our own military leadership stated during a press conference that the variant of the Abrams provided to Ukraine were effectively the same as the M1A2 variant with the upgraded armor and optics used to outfit theirs.

Maybe like a "Throwback" menu, one that looks relative too this one, but in a more modern style!
There's so much about the Cold War aesthetic that i love from all this footage you've masterfully made look like a game menu.

Its not often i hear a track from a modern video game and think that yes thats an epic soundtrack worth being listened to on it's own outside of the game but this is one of those rare exceptions.
It definitely feels like every 2000's milsim/historical shooter had half the budget go towards the soundtrack because they were almost always bangers

ARMA 3 multiplayer is probably the most fun I have ever had in a game especially when I played on this Vietnam server it was so fun to scream THERE IN THE TREES and we committed more crimes than an Serbian war criminal

I not understand why in Arma Reforger not have CAMPAIGN. Everon remake is great. This was real disappoint
If things got hot in the mid 1970’s my grandfather would have been on the front line because he did a tour of duty in west Germany I wish I could follow in the footsteps of both my father and grandfather and join the army after high school but sadly I’m medically ineligible for service.

I really love the Cold War era of war. I really hope we get a full fledged Cold War arma experience with arma 4 or at least more support for reforger. The modern era is getting so incredibly stale. Every tactical and milsim shooter are all the same. Same guns, same optics and feel so soulless
