Great Vid! But the image on 1min 35sec shows Flat Top bars - not Rounded Bars. To be clear - the flat top bars is used for segregated cycle track/footway surface - the rounded bars are hazards like a ramp - top of stairs etc [care of Sue - RSBC :)]
I really need an answer to this. Is it true that some push buttons have like a thing at the bottom that gets warmer when its time to cross? or is that just something my dad made up and told me as a kid...
There is a cone like tip at the bottom of the push button crossing but it doesn't get warm. What is does is it rotates to signal to the visually impaired person that its safe to cross the road.

The description of tactile pavings have been misguided..Please look for proper classifications based on different types of paving.
