Can Ross Edgley do the unthinkable? Will he be the first to swim around the entire mainland of Great Britain? We follow Ross on one of his biggest challenges to date. This is the Great British Swim.
The Great British Swim is as much a mental game as a physical one, and as Ross arrives in Scottish waters the enormity of the task facing him begins to hit home. It’s now time for the Great British Swimmer to call on the advice of his good friend and ex-special forces operative, Ant Middleton to help him overcome the ensuing mental battle.
Not only do we get a visit from a SAS hero this week, but mischief comes knocking from Ross’ two brothers who make their way on the boat. About time the strongman swimmer got a trim don’t you think?

Ross is actually turning into one of the few people that properly inspire me. If he can do a marathon pulling a mini, I can do a marathon normally. Absolute legend.

Dear Ross,
You probably will never see this, but just want you to know how inspiring you have been for me. This past year has been really rough i got fractures in ankles and another concussion and have not been able to workout all year. So I have become really out of shape and its been extremely hard for me to return to my active life. But, because of your swim I have told myself there is no excuse if your gonna swim all that way I can do every single one of my workouts 3 times as hard. So thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! Keep up the fantastic work!

Hey Ross, it's amazing to see what you're capable of and your videos are both an inspiration and really fun to watch. I've been following your Great British Swim from the beginning and I can't believe it's been 58 days already. Just WOW on what you've accomplished so far and all the best for the time ahead.
I used to be a swimmer (mostly in the pool) and rescue swimmer but due to health issues I had to stop. It's really hard to stop doing something I love because my body tells me to :( However, I learned from your videos and also from studies (e.g. significant muscle growth by doing imaginations - really true!) how strong the mind is and I hope someday my mind will beat my body.
Have a good swim around Scotland now and I hope you won't encounter too many jelly fish there.
