I don’t know why but my hammer is cocked back every single time I install the hammer spring and it does not move forward when the trigger is pulled. It feels like the trigger does not contact the hammer unless I take the hammer spring/rod/cap out. Only then will the trigger make contact with the hammer to lock and release.
