In the same vein as the "bathtub" tip, we camped off grid in NM this summer and brought a 2gal pump up sprayer that you can find in the garden section of Home Depot or Walmart. We used that to spray down the kids (who were filthy) every night before bed. Just remember to put it in the sun to warm up during the day or it can be chilly water.
Camping with the family is just awesome. My wife, 4 kids and I head out this Monday for 3 days. We have a total of 25 people including friends and family going im so excited. So much work but so worth it lol
Im planning a camping trip with a friend and her 5 year old,,i even told her i have camping toilet seat for a bucket,,,,for people who want to camp for first time,,,get a trusted person to camp with

This man has been traumatized by little kids and smore 👀 I'm not judging. I think we're gonna leave the smores for home. We'll have a camp shower but that won't get all of that out of my son's clothes 😰 And the plan was to wear each pair of jeans for two days. That won't work with smores involved...

Ha! Love that idea!
Love this, new step dad here and I’ve been searching around for ideas. Thanks
Congratulations! Glad you liked the ideas.
Smores is a tradition when camping. Night time tip... bring glow sticks for all the kids, they love em, and you can easily see your kid at night.
Love that. You could even color code them so you know which kid is which. 😆 And yes, just a very very messy tradition.
@@DadCamps... the packs come with multiple colors, that's exactly what we do.
Just did an overnight canoe trip, with a 3 yr old and a 4 yr old, grandpa, and the boys had a great time .
That sounds fantastic! Great memories made I’m sure.

That sounds amazing! Hope you had a great camp out! Big group campouts are so much fun.
Thank you! Helpful tips!
Glad it was helpful!
This is Awesome! Great tips! Never thought about the bathtub 😂 now my littlest is 3 so its a little easier.
Appreciate it! Yeah SO much easier after that age. But they also have more opinions! 🤣
Smores are a must! Geez, just bring some wet-wipes, lol
I know, I know... I also don't like chocolate, so that doesn't help. I'm just a fuddy duddy on the S'mores.
The *our small children* footnote sent me 😂😂😂 lest we assume you take random small children with you camping lollll
Felt I had to clarify. 🤣
Wish ozark trail still made the dark rest tents in a larger version. We need 10-12 person and its so hard to find a dark tent.
Coleman makes one! amzn.to/3V8qdxM
Im planning on camping with my kid, he's turning 3 next year. Never had camping before.
That’s awesome! It’s SO good for kids to be outside and have some freedom to roam and explore.
I wonder if they have double wall dark tents 🤔
I did a whole review on my dark room tent if you want to check it out! ruclips.net/video/812PhXMm9w8/видео.html
Yeah have I have to admit you are right about the s’mores 😂
THANK YOU! 😂😂😂
Dang didn’t know bout bout black out tents
Oh man - GAME CHANGER.
About what age did you take your children camping?
Since about 1 year old!

@@DadCamps camping g for me is always a learning experience,,,you find out what you don't need and things that would be helpful
Totally, I’m always keeping a list of things to do better next time.

Don't 😂😂

Exactly! Save the s’mores for when they’re old enough to clean themselves up! 😂
