I do feel seriously awful for Valentina despite everything. That was her moment to have, and they all took shots at her the entire time to where she basically isn’t considered to be Miss Congeniality for smth that wasn’t her fault. Yea, they shouldn’t have ever had it be fan voted, but it was and she won. Fucked up that they took that away from her.

Saying she doesn’t get social media is just a cover for the fact that she didn’t defend Nina when she absolutely could have and promised to. She ignored all the unjustified hate being thrown at her fellow Ru girls and chose instead to stay in her own world where everyone loves her. She brushed off Farah saying she was hurt by her negligence as a friend and wouldn’t even acknowledge she hadn’t been there for her. She behaved selfishly and it’s only when she’s being praised that we see her show up for anything. Even with her little Miss Congeniality speech she ignores how she hurt the people in the room and offers no reflection on how unkind she’s been. I say all this as a Valentina fan, but the way she acted on her season and during the reunion was two faced and self centered.

I’m surprised they got away with that. I thought they were the mean girls and the villains of the season and it took me many years to actually start liking Raja and Manila after that. I really disliked them for how they behaved during most of the season.
Queens have done a lot less and been hated for years after their season. Tyra was hated for years, so was Silky Ra’jah O’Hara, Nina Bonina Brown, Kennedy Davenport even Jasmine Masters was overwhelmed with hate after her original season.

I like how Valentina didn’t look at Farrah when she was trying to tell her how she felt and the face Valentina had when listening to her. Then the response she gave to her. It’s really sad. As much as I liked her, she started to show her true colors as people talked about it.
I love that they took back the Miss Congeniality award and turned it into Fan Favorite, and Valentina still loved it.
The Season 9 reunion will always be iconic because up until that point it was RuPaul's Best Friend Race, almost to a point where the girls seem to be self-producing. That reunion brought out all that was boiling underneath. Also the fact that it was filmed after the finale, the girls were pressed that Valentina got all that cheering from the crowd and Shea and Trinity had nothing to lose anymore so they dished it all out.
Same thing could have happened in S13 and then they had to do that weird "reunion" more like recap.
But I'm glad the queens get to show more of their talent in their music videos.
I agree with almost everything you said, except the part of them being pressed because of Valentina's ovation. I am very sure that was the least in their minds. Valentina was just flat out fake during her main season and she got called out for that. Harshly. But envy? no.

Aja and Shea seem jealous, the others maybe a little hurt, and the final result of the segment looks like a little bit of bullying toward Valentina. She's a strong person though.
Tatianna is so clear and concise with her words. She'd be a great public speaker.
The finger when Tatianna said "I'm not done talking, you will speak when I'm done" is everything to me.
I honestly think Stacey is such a sensitive, sweet soul. It makes me sad she was selected for All Stars cast, but she was replaced by another queen, but still featured in a challenge that same season. During filming, she overheard someone say something that hurt her feelings and she vowed she would never comeback as a contestant. I love her though; I would love to see her back :(

@@x-Clover-x I am just grateful she has made appearances throughout the RPDR seasons. My favorite character of hers was the courtroom stenographer!! A completely nonverbal role and she did it masterfully funny 😂

I think Valentina was the choice that made the most sense at the time. She had a major fan base that were desperate for her to win SOMETHING if it wasn’t the crown. Miss Congeniality gave Valentina at least something, and that’s what most of the fans wanted to see. And let’s be real, there was not many congenial people in that season except Peppermint and Sasha who were both finalists.
This is why I'm glad the Queens pick miss congeniality now

Rajah’s redemption will always be one of my favorites, she’s a completely different person on all stars 6 than she was in Season 11. She’s evolved so much and has become one of my favorite queens 💜

I get the point that Raja and Delta were trying to explain, but if you look at it they secluded exactly the girls with less resources or the ones that didn't fit the beauty standard.
I get that Delta doesn't exactly fit the said beauty standard, but you can tell she may have had a better upbringing than Stacy, and the rest of the "boogers".
I see girls that are more educated and have a better social status doing exactly what society does everyday with people that come from humble beginnings or that don't fit the beauty standard.
Seing that was very hurtful, because I've been through this sort of bullying all my life, and heard the same speech.

Years later and people still can't admit they were mostly jealous and in their feelings Bc the prior night at the taping of the finale, Valentina recieved a roaring reception, the crowd went the most wild for her and not even Sasha v got that much applause. They had to edit down the applause to be the same as the other girls. The girls rightfully brought up the fan treatment thing but the rest is them just seething and beung jealous.
