Pointing at the elderly antiques dealer to ask her name and saying gracias (it's Italy, not Spain, duh) instead of grazie is just plain ignorant and rude. Then haggling down the price when you know it's worth more than they are asking. Ugh. Can learn some manners and basic diplomacy.
Its his job to haggle, they are both dealers and both need a profit. If she is happy and shows a profit then what's the problem? He has to get it home then cover his costs and make a living - she doesn't have to sell.
