Oh my god this episode was so rough for good ol’ Mark. The storm chasers absolutely ripping him apart with emotions and all 6 of them killed it. I was right there with mark tearing up at the smallest things because they mean so much in retrospect
While playing catch-up by the episode title I assumed it's the finale when it first popped up... then the "Final Farewell" came and I assumed that's the finale... as the episodes continued to be put out, I kinda assumed Clear Skies might be kept for the actual finale and it seems I was correct. To be fair "Clear Skies" sounds like the perfect title for the finale... assuming the gang wins ^^'

crazy how many times rhiannon has made me cry during this campaign
This episode just affirms my belief that Lucius is the best character! I love them all but Lucius always had a special place in my heart. I adored all of his interactions in this episode. I'm both excited to the end of Aerois and sad to see Aerois go. It's meant a lot to me over the years, you are all an inspiration! Can't wait to see what's next for the High Rollers
Rhiannon and Mark are simply amazing. Both can convey such emotion and depth for their characters. Rhi's eyes during that conversation was something else.
Wow, I'm with ya Mark. Don't feel bad about emotions, this one had me to 😢 what a beautiful story. Shout to Rhi btw! For being the newbie in this campaign she has brought out some of my favorite moments with Sentry. Thank you all for the wild ride. This, is epic.
As soon as Tom and Katie said they were going to do something I knew what was coming, but I was not expecting that level of chaos 😂 I was literally crying with laughter, how they all didn't break down at the table is beyond me
Thank you Trott for taking the plunge with Lucius on this one, really proud of you! I only hope that Mark gives Tom's next character the boyfriend he so clearly craves in Campaign 3.
I saw Fael's art of That Scene before this episode was uploaded, and Jesus christ the amount of joy it brought me to watch it days later. I am so stupidly excited, its 1am, help.
Space, the final frontier. These are the adventures of the aeterna Tiangong. Our continuing mission, to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizatons, to boldly go where no aeterna has gone before.
Yea, he was the barbarian ofte party, zarkira was the wizard. We dont know who the rest were. They did their heroics, befriended siaska, became immortal, lost giddion and went their separate ways.
We need an uncannon or maybe cannon oneshot or mini series like the curse of strahd where mark plays as starbane and the other party members are the rest and someone dming that chaos 😂.
Can't help but feel this was 180 episodes in the making. What an amazing group and an amazing episode. Clearly not the end, but some very satisfying character conclusions. Let's hope they all survive Hadar.
All these emotions. I love it so much and so much time has passed. When I first watched you life by accident on episode 11 of Lightfall I could not image how far this would go! I was watching and listening to so much more actual plays during this time but I was always looking forward for new episodes of HighRollers every week! ❤
This episode was absolutely phenomenal. The laughs, the tears, all so cathartic! Massive bravos to the whole cast! Special shout out to Rhi for that amazing ending. 'Til all are one!
I usually dont comment but for this I have to. I've listened to you guys since the early days of Aerois and I feel I need to say a personal thank you because you all have inspired me to play better D&D. Your storytelling has been masterful; here's to the next campaign and remembering the fantastic story of Aerois
Listening to this on the bus was so hard not to burst out laughing when Zimzam is found, especially "we are talking WIZARD LANGUAGE" 😂 the way Mark plays that scene is top notch dming
The new Table looks absolutely amazing! I got giddy the moment I saw the carved High Roller's logo in the thumbnail! I'm also really happy to see Katie back! This episode is sure to be a good one!
Welp, was really not expecting to tear up this much (especially not the amount of times I did this episode) just listening to a bunch of people play dnd for the past 4 years.
Was cracking uuup at the ZimZam bit! Had to bite my cheeks to not burst out laughing and wake up my 4month old sleeping in the other room. I’m so happy I’m able to watch again after the baby bubble 🥰❤️
Man I really need to catch up on this campaign, I think I stopped when Rosemeadow touched Quill's book and sent everyone to the Feywild. I'm sure I've missed a lot since then.
Did Sentry just Green Lantern tf out of that ending?? For being the newest player in the group and this being her first campaign, Rhiannon is so good at the creative side of the game. Can't wait to see what she does for campaign 3
This is my favorite episode - so much good rp and I love seeing all the NPCs. Best episodes when you can laugh and happy cry all in one session. Can’t wait for this final adventure and what’s to come!
"Hello everybody, I'm your dungeon master, Mark 'Leaky Eyes' Hulmes..." (What an amazing episode. We are all of us here a big family of leaky eyes I think.)
Watching this campaign and how far everyone’s character has come has given me a moment to reflect on just how much I’ve changed over the past 5 years too. To growth and love ❤️ can’t wait to see how this ends, and what new stories await us
Felt for Mark on this one. Turning on all the Feels with the vast cast of NPCs and previous locations in a wonderful amalgamation. All the more enjoyable after such big smack downs over the last months. Just great.
Really appreciate you gius leaving om the transitions on more dramatic and emotional episodes, definitely makes me feel like I'm not missing anything when things are a little bit wild
11:58 - Oh, come now, Wizards loves all of their classes equally. They just love some classes more equally than others. 12:37 - "High Rollers Campaign 3: Oops, All Paladins"
This was such a beautiful gem of an episode. So much time, characters and story culminating in this precious, touching and wonderful episode. This fantastic story you have woven into such a magnificent tapestry, is something you all should be proud of. My life is better for having experienced it. Thank you, all of you wonderful human beings, for sharing this with the world.
Love your twists on combat mechanics but this episode is why so many of us keep coming back episode after episode. No other group that does this tells stories as well as you do, and makes me laugh and cry (or both) as much as you do. Bloody great session. Please keep doing what you do!
Catching up on this 4 months late as life got life-y and couldn't watch live for ages. I've been crying for hours (having started my catch up with ep #180), with laughter as well as feels. Just needed to say how fucking amazing you all are, even tho it's super late. Such great story telling and RP from every single one of you. You guys always laugh at the start of episodes about how "professional" your stream is....I am not moved like this by huge budget series/movies or published books (as much as I love many), you guys are professional in every way that counts.
Wasn't able to watch this week since Sunday also happened to be my niece's birthday, so belated Happy Easter everyone! New table's looking FRESH and amazing. Looking forward to seeing what I missed on, but I'll be there live from now on hopefully
‘There are two wolves inside you’ the episode. From sadness to joy and back again, the pendulum was swinging hard on this one 😛 These were some truly great, emotional scenes with some shenanigans sprinkled in, Mark’s screams especially slayed me 🤣
I'm so sad for Tom /spoiler/ he seemed to really want the thing with Lucius not to be a troll like they kept playing it throughout the campaign, it seriously broke my heart at how disappointed he looked. He's a good boy, and deserves all the best things ❤🐦
@@bookworm3696 lol that's what I thought too. through his grumping he even said "he's damn beautiful" "It's easier to pretend when he's an elf, I have no excuse when he's a goddamn gorgeous bird"
Zim Zam is the best character to ever exist. P.S. I’m genuinely kinda sad Rana’iel the celestial they saved from Xarkira’s ship was forgotten. I really liked her. Oh well, I assume she was present just the players forgot.
to be fair with Tom. Having a 100% chance that your god will help you with something isn't useful when the god is right there, active and helping specifically your group
I know last episode i said i have to stop watching at work because i cry too much, but i immediately lainched into this episode and Rhi *destroyed* my feelings. Im ugly crying at my desk.
I am still hoping for more character development for Aila. Would be interesting to explore the whole clone-story and where she comes from. The rest of the gang have amazing character arcs!
I would have kinda liked to hear more Aila backstory, but then, I realize that Aila is just that, and while it isn't a simple story, Aila's thing is not being overly complicated.
I need to start watching High Rollers and catch up on aerois... But is aerois finishing? Does that mean they're starting a new campaign? Does that mean there's going to be a starting point for me without loads of catch to do? That would be exciting! I remember when Critical Role campaign 3 started, I was so very excited to start watching then and it would be the same here. 😁😁
Aerois is drawing to a close, yes. They will likely take a little break and do a few oneshots or mini campaigns, before launching the next long campaign in summer or early autumn. The name of the new campaign setting is Altheya.
I'm playing catch-up with the finale. My god the emotional whiplash. Mark, if you're reading this, I need you to know that "Have you met Nigel?" nearly made me choke on my garlic bread.
I think it would’ve been funny if they invited Sascha(I don’t know how to spell it) to their dinner party. Everyone just sits there and stares as the literal god of the world sits there to eat with them.
Oh my god this episode was so rough for good ol’ Mark. The storm chasers absolutely ripping him apart with emotions and all 6 of them killed it. I was right there with mark tearing up at the smallest things because they mean so much in retrospect
I sure hope that fancy new table is tear-proof.
Oh, god... the whole Zim Zam interaction had me in tears. Absolutely brilliant.
It’s crazy how quick the past 5 years have gone. Here’s to Aerois’ completion and the dawn of a new campaign! Can’t wait to see how Aerois ends
After the massive emotional damage fucking Zim Zam annihilated me. Mark has 10/10 Perfect Screams that had me crying from laughing 1:55:50
Personally 2:01:25 got me
I'm disappointed this episode wasn't called: "Clear Skies and Leaky Eyes"
While playing catch-up by the episode title I assumed it's the finale when it first popped up... then the "Final Farewell" came and I assumed that's the finale... as the episodes continued to be put out, I kinda assumed Clear Skies might be kept for the actual finale and it seems I was correct.

This is one of my favourite episodes of aerois hands down
Quill having a reputation as a gossip is hilarious
More Aila and Quill adventures.
"Wanna... wanna beat up ice elemental?"
"I mean -yeah. Yeah. Yeah."
Oh god, the ice elemental's death at 2:01:25 was so gd funny. That scream was so unexpected. Hardest belly laugh I've ever done.
He just forgot to sort things out with his wife.
Rhiannon and Mark are simply amazing. Both can convey such emotion and depth for their characters. Rhi's eyes during that conversation was something else.

The story and the characters are not the only thing that changed over the years. So did Mark and the players. This was a spectacular episode.
As soon as Tom and Katie said they were going to do something I knew what was coming, but I was not expecting that level of chaos 😂
I was literally crying with laughter, how they all didn't break down at the table is beyond me
I've watched and played a LOT of d&d. This is one of the best episodes ever.
Bless you Highrollers. You are such a joy.
Thank you Trott for taking the plunge with Lucius on this one, really proud of you! I only hope that Mark gives Tom's next character the boyfriend he so clearly craves in Campaign 3.
omg love ur tiktok hilarious to randomly see u here fully agreed lucius is maybe my fav character of any ttrpg hes just so
I saw Fael's art of That Scene before this episode was uploaded, and Jesus christ the amount of joy it brought me to watch it days later.
I am so stupidly excited, its 1am, help.
If nothing else, I can be trusted to bring news of elves 🤣
I genuinely couldn't believe it but it was still so much better than I thought
Zim Zam. Spending gold like a true player character. On sexy times, booze, and rooms.
Space, the final frontier. These are the adventures of the aeterna Tiangong. Our continuing mission, to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizatons, to boldly go where no aeterna has gone before.
So many years, adventures, laughs, tears... and it all paid off in spectacular fashion. God speed Zim Zam, god speed.
So many small moments from the early campaign that came back... It hits me in the heart
Mark channeling Han Solo as Thalia is so on point… Delish!
Not going to lie I would love to hear all of the backstory of the emperor in his youth being a fighter and eventual would be super cool
Yea, he was the barbarian ofte party, zarkira was the wizard. We dont know who the rest were. They did their heroics, befriended siaska, became immortal, lost giddion and went their separate ways.

New favorite episode. Fan and player and DM service 100%.
We deserve it
I'm not crying. You're crying. Mark is crying. Everyone is crying!
Sentry absolutely dropping the mic. This episode was absolutely incredible ❤
Welp, was really not expecting to tear up this much (especially not the amount of times I did this episode) just listening to a bunch of people play dnd for the past 4 years.
Wow, just wow. 😊 You have to have the full crew for the final battle. 😊 Thank you all for this incredible journey. 😊
Was cracking uuup at the ZimZam bit! Had to bite my cheeks to not burst out laughing and wake up my 4month old sleeping in the other room. I’m so happy I’m able to watch again after the baby bubble 🥰❤️
Rhi broke me with her ending speech. Crying like a 6 year old with a skinned knee. Had ALL the feels with this episode!!!!😂😭🤘👌❤❤❤❤

That's where I am too. I really need to catch up because it seems like it's coming to an end lol

*Spoliers*
2:15:48 Hahah Trott’s joking. OH WAIT HES NOT JOKING- YESSSS 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Edit: Wait Lucius is married omg how scandalous
Thrupple. He's the prince, he can make the bigamous marriage legal.
This is my favorite episode - so much good rp and I love seeing all the NPCs. Best episodes when you can laugh and happy cry all in one session. Can’t wait for this final adventure and what’s to come!
Out of all the episodes this one made me have leaky eyes the most
The zim zam lore has me in tears 😂

Does Petal make boxes of cooling? Asking for a bird friend...
They should let her know about that idea, she'll be richer than Lucius! 😂
😅😂
The words "Emotional Rollercoaster" come to mind. 10/10 would ride again.
There was no need for Rhi to go that hard, oh my fuck was I sobbing. Incredible episode all round.
god this episode is a masterpiece it's so good, by far my favourite episode of aerois and one of if not my favourite d&d show episodes I've watched
