First off- - Great video, thank you! I have a question though: Why do I get errors when I try to set up a combo box with allow searching? If i disable allow searching the error goes away. The error isn't very helpful and seems tied to the 'DisplayFields' property of the combobox control. The error says "Unexpected characters. The Formula contains 'Eof' where 'ParenClose' is expected." Thanks

i am unable to solve one thing related to search User or Group, when i use edit form control and in there if i have any field that is set to "People or group" then onselect i am getting some number to choose from and not search option even when search is on. when i try to see what does it show when i insert the value manually in sharepoint list for perticular record then that shows as "INJECT0" instead of username in power app. how to deal with that. i feel only you can make it possible.

Work well for a SharePoint list, thank you... But why will it not work for a collection..? Ah sorry, correction: collections do work but people columns don't seem to be people columns any more - the field selection panel does not allow you to configure people columns with picture, first and secondary field and searchable... Never mind. I put in a workaround in validation.. they can search for anyone in the list but if the selected user doesn't have the desired value selected in the multi choice lookup column, validation kicks in when you submit the form.. not great but it works 😅

Pretty close to what I needed. I tried to set up a People Picker Combo box to choose from a Group created in sharepoint list as described in the video (and based on some search results on Google). However, I didn't like that users had to type the person's name, and then I ran into a problem where only the people that were listed in the sharepoint list got vaildated results from that people picker. It was a required field, so every other user not in that sharepoint list received an error that they couldn't submit a record entry because it thought that field was blank. Kept saying that field was required even if not blank. I may move to create an Office 365 Group if I can figure out how to do it without having Office 365 Admin privileges. The behavior of the combo box seems to be more inline with what I want. I'm just afraid that users outside of that Group may still have an issue submitting records with the Power App. Currently the only solution I can think of is to turn off the required button for that column, but that may cause issues further down the line. Anyway, just something I'm working through at the moment.

Hi Reza, Great video and your videos are always on point. However, I'm trying to populate a field in a form. The column type is "Person" on SharePoint.
