It's only a kid's side if there's actually really good sides there. But if they got nasty ass potato salad and nasty ass sides like you going to starve to death if you don't eat no chips. And it also depends on if like it's a bunch of poor people having the barbecue too. Cuz I've been to a lot of those going up in the country. And you can tell them by anybody else because their drink is Kool-Aid or sweet tea and their main dishes are either hamburgers or hot dogs and their sides are always chips. And you'd be lucky if there was a desert.

I'm judging Meg for saying any store bought potato salad is fire. If anybody brings store bought potato salad to the BBQ trust me they are excommunicated from all future gatherings.
She didn't say any store potato salad would do. He specifically said certain brands. And I are some ones that taste decent. However most of them either they put too much mayonnaise in it or they make it really spicy or there's just too much vinegar in it or something. Now if you're lucky enough to find ran that it's not any of those things and you're very lucky. Cuz most of them will have a lot of vinegar in it to preserve the nasty ass potato salad which unfortunately makes it unedible.

Potato salad and Mac and cheese can make or break any meal, I once had potato salad with too much onions in it I stopped eating there all together.
Or they don't chop them well enough and they're like huge chunks. That's nasty too. Or there's like too much mustard in it and it like has a lot of vinegar so taste like crap.
Too much onions is overpowering 😖😭 put a big ass scoop of potato salad at a party one time , tasted that shit n it had way too many damn onions..
