- This is my first in a series of kill videos, designed to teach you how to quickly kill & loot the Legacy CV's! In this video I go over some basics of my ship, weapon loadout, targeting settings, and strategies.
In this video you'll see the Infector was no match, and went down quickly, dropping some great loot.

I just made a shield ship that handles these. Have to stay mobile though, and use those deadzones you mentioned when you can. It's the Eidolon Legacy if anyone wants to try it. I figure as I improve with more Quantums I'll be able to take on the Eradicators and Devestators or whatever they are lol.

I have no T2 turrets on this ship. The Positrons & Lasers are the standard versions.
I do use the Heavy Blaster Cannons for shield damage, which is unlocked via schematic.
@@mov4do Those heavy blasters also chew right thru xeno and combat steel. I use the to snipe cores on Toveras. They only take out one block with no splash damage.
@@samsquatch7285Yeah, I tend to use them on the Tovera’s since the core is so close to the quantum’s. But you’re right, they do a great job against blocks too. If I face a standard Decimator, I may use the blasters there, since I know precisely where the core is located.
Have you played around with the EMP Launchers? They seem to strip the shields super quick, but they are pretty expensive to make.
I have, but to be honest, I’ve been underwhelmed by them. They only really hurt the shield on the opponent, and after that they are almost worthless. This is why I load up on more lasers, positron, and heavy blaster cannons. Lasers & positron are also decent against drones and do some block damage, so multi-purpose. I also don’t have EMP unlocked yet, in this play through, as I’m lacking the skill points at the moment.
@@mov4do I haven't tried out the heavy blaster cannons yet but they seemed to work pretty well, so I will give them a shot. Thanks for all the great videos they have helped me a ton fighting the legacy and looting them!
