I've played the psx version at least 5 times over, and there is a significant decrease in difficulty on the pc version. more time, slower AI, less overall pursuit vehicles, shortened distances. Some missions actually got tweaked to be a little harder, and most of the chase missions actually were tuned up to be more difficult
this mission for example, on PS1 version, there is rain, heavy overcast(so dark but no lights), felony is bumped to the "y" after picking up the gangsters, this is the first mission when 4 cops are allowed to pursue, they spawn within 5 seconds of losing another and even right in front of the lockup, and will even put a roadblock up on that east river wharf road leading to the lockup
Absolutely bullshit, that damage meter didn't fill properly, only one blockade on the bridge, got away from the cops like the miami levels. Not buying it one bit
