  • This video provides easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions to knit a simple 2x2 rib hood from the top down.
    You will need:
    8mm/US 11 circular knitting needles, length 50cm/20''
Yarn: We used 4 strands of mixed-weight yarn held together to knit the hood, this was the equivalent of using 3 strands of aran/worsted-weight yarn held together. It's a great project to use up odd balls of yarn from your stash. You will need approx 120m per ball.
Useful tools: Tape measure, stitch marker, scissors and a blunt tapestry needle to weave in ends.

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I love that you put the pattern instructions in the video. I'm a beginner and it is so helpful to see how different stitches work practically in a pattern.
