Arena 2000, Cov City’s proposed 40,000 capacity stadium before the Ricoh was built. Was planned to be part of the 2006 World Cup bid, but I think it wasn’t chosen as a host city so was scaled back to the identikit ground we now have…but still don’t own 🙄
For pt.3: A stadium that was planned to be built somewhere in Moscow Oblast' Region (Firstly in Podolsk) for 2018 World Cup and was in the original application that was showed in Switzerland in 2010, but that project was later changed to Spartak Moscow's new stadium.
Also, the NY Cosmos potential stadium reminded me of 2 other stadiums that were never built - a new one in Yaroslavl and the original design of Rostov stadium, which (just like at least 6 other WC-18 stadiums) was changed and simplified due to either initial bullshit with time frames or stealing money on building these stadiums.
