Man, I don't know. If they tried to give me a truck with that many issues, after having been in a rollover, I might be looking at other options. I'm assuming the lease is less, because of the situation, as opposed to a new truck. I wish you the best of luck.
I am in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It's about 40 minutes west of Toronto. Up here our "CDL"'s to drive transport are called A/Z in Ontario. Can be referred to as Class 1 as well in other parts of Canada. I have my D/Z which permits me to drive something like a dump truck but I drove an Expedite Logistics truck that was a 2007 Volvo VNL 780 with a 24ft box on the back and motorized tailgate. Did OTR in it and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED it. I stopped because that particular place and job didnt pay enough to warrant being away from my Wife and Kids for days at a time but if I ever lost my current job i'd 100% be going to get my A/Z and doing OTR trucking in a owner operator style arrangement. Love driving and the truck camp outs lol
The truck is a work tool. That's all it is if its 1400 a week. that's chump change. Bumper to bumper warranty also no credit check no money down they just hand me the keys. I'm not obligated to anything . So you got bad information as far as I'm concerned.
I had a truck that blew out coolant as it ran. I was losing coolant whenever i moved but there no coolant leaks when i parked. I only caught it from inspections and adding coolant.
Yeah that’s unfortunate I had a coolant leak and was able to locate it and get it fixed. But I switched trucks because right off the bat the green one gave me too many issues.
Sorry but I would have refused a truck that had been in a serious wreck, that truck will never be like 100% like it came off the factory assembly line. It will always have gremlins that pop up from mechanical to electrical bc it was cab replaced rollover truck! I would asked to be switched into another truck bc this is just the start of your break down future with that truck!
Nice man I appreciate techs you guys keep us rolling. The truck I got in this video was a rebuild terrible rolled over truck many issues but I got a way better one now keeping me moving. Thanks 🙏
You can choose what you want but they didn’t have any peterbuilts or kenworths as I wanted one of the kenworths. They only had international and freightliner so I chose a freightliner rather than international
Oh I think that’s pretty normal for a Frieightliner to leak coolant. I think I would have probably turned around and left as I saw that POS but I guess you kinda expected some compromises when you agreed to a Freightliner
It’s a hit or miss on these trucks the first one I had before was a 2022 with zero issues I drove it to years did all the maintenance and I was a good truck.
I drove for Prime in 2005-2006 in their tanker division. Made great money first few months finished the lease on a 2002 Freightliner Century got to order my new 2005 Freightliner Century it was pretty had black paint with gold flakes I miss that truck. Anyway made great money first few months sometimes as much as 7k a week. Then they moved my dispatcher from day shift to night shift and gave me a new primary dispatcher went from 6500 to 7k a week to 300 and 400 a week this is all bring home. I stayed for a year hoping the boy would do better but never did. he had me living on advances cause he wouldn't get me the loads. Found out shortly after leaving the reason for the switch in dispatcher for me. Turns out my original dispatcher's drivers were making too much. He was grabbing great loads for his drivers and the head of the department didn't like that cause it was making him look bad so he busted my dispatcher to night shift. So word of warning I wish you the best and hope you have a good dispatcher and don't have the same experience I had. I also found out when trying to fix the problem you can't take your lease truck and switch divisions cause I was going to go to box trailer and they wouldn't let me. I don't know if that has changed since then. Again best of luck with them.
You said lease agreement? Is that a lease purchase? Well the story about lease purchase is You will pay many dollars more than the actual value of the truck. The color is a great color and as always good luck with the truck.
