It's a fairly good car, but I think it sells well because their aren't any rivals left because the 308, Megane and Focus convertible are dead, and the FIAT 500 and MINI are too small

T Roc needs the 1.5 with DSG Auto. Much more pleasant to drive with virtually same mpg. DSG box is superb, imperceptible gear changes. Yes it’s a bit lacking under hard acceleration but it adequately refined. Have to disagree with you on number of days you can have top down motoring. UK is by far the best country to have a soft top car. If it’s not raining you can have top down. Totally different driving experience in a soft top, you hear nature, become involved with the outside world. It’s a nightmare owning a soft top in a hot sunny country imho. Far too hot and unpleasant. You need a hardtop with aircon in hot countries not a soft top 🥵🥵🥵🥵
Lastly I do agree with you that on paper it doesn’t work, but driving it is when you realise it’s a fun car
