i started learning designs about 6 months ago, got my first job recently and got paid pretty decent as well. my suggestion from my personal experience is, learn as much as you can, have fun, and post your work on socials.
if your work in genuine and thoughtful, someone will recognize it. most importantly, dont worry about getting a job yet. worry about learning process and things will fall into place.

You videos are gold, you helped me land my first freelance project and within 6 months I have done 42 projects, income wise I am happy as I am an Indian, but I really want a full-time job as a website or brand designer my aim is $60,000 as a remote salary, I have worked directly worked with CEOs and Founders, one of them sold his previous startup to salesforce for $50million and I designed the Website and UI/UX along with branding for his new startup, also I have done a re-brand of an huge govt organisation directly managed by Justin Trudeau, so I think I am qualified to get a remote job as a junior designer, what do you think? I am not from a design school and I am 19

just saw this after 2 years lol. dude as a 19 yrs old, that's a huge success! most people are still in school at your age. I think 60k is quite realistic if you can prove your worth, which you have. It's all about how you sell and set yourself apart from millions of designers in India. Well done!
