Vine really jump-started my listing during the honeymoon. It was the perfect combo for product launch. Will be enrolling again for next month's launch.
I'm a Vine member, and I live in a state where we have to pay state taxes. We vine members receive a 1099-NEC for the total value of the products we ordered and reviewed. No money changes hands yet we are stuck with the tax bill. Ami said Amazon pays the seller for their product once a review has been posted. Is Amazon also paying the tax on said products or are they passing that on to us via the 1099? It so complicated tax wise. Seems to me, if we are required to pay tax on the Value of the goods, we should also be allowed to pay the the value of the additional tax owed generated by the 1099 with the goods we receive.
I have literally just been invited to become a Vine reviewer a week ago. I was in the middle of writing a review for a Sit/Stand Desk that I had just bought and it flashed up asking me if I would like to Vine review member. Well I agreed because it took me months to decide on which Desk I wanted to buy and although I kept going back to the one I eventually bought, the fact that it only had a few reviews put me off. Also I had never heard of the company. I was glad I decided on the one I got and gave a good review because it was such good quality so I felt the Company deserved to have a review to help it in the future. So I do often leave reviews and am very excited about being part of Vine, however I can't always get the items I would like to receive but I think that will build with time.
As a vine reviewer, I provide photos and videos for 80% of my reviews. I look at it from the buyer side, what would I want to know about this product. Any delay in my reviews is caused by shipping or Amazon reviewing my review. I have seen up to 7 days for my review to go live, possibly because of the addition of a video. I hate giving bad reviews but when something is broken, missing parts or does not represent the seller’s advertisement, I knock stars off. I love the program and like to know I may help a buyer’s decision to buy or not buy a product.
DON'T REVIEW ANYTHING DEFECTIVE as you WILL HAVE THE ETV put against you by AMAZON., unless you have a separate income that you can itemize with and can use your donation slips with.

Numbers, numbers, numbers. This was a terrible interview - just soundbite after soundbite.
